What is the best Sim. sided Nascar game for the Xbox 1?

Why don't you try Forza Motorsport 7 for the Xbox One? I'm not sure if it has the best simulation graphics for the console out there but I'm sure it's worth seeing.

Late reply but you can try a demo of nascar heat 3. I find it really fun on big ovals in a race in traffic.
I played it in hood view with a controller and with my g29, it's pretty good for a cheaper game. The sound is ok once you are rolling in high constant speed.

The ai is pretty good too, avoiding you and racing each other and keeping a steady speed, not making it too easy to pass.

Also the spotter voice is really good, giving you proper info if someone's near on the inside, outside etc, and sounds really natural, maybe more than in 4 from videos i saw.

Good mix of ovals, not boring at all in traffic and as fun as any other.

Now nh4 is said to be quite a bit better for sound, physics and graphics, plus you can start your career in the series of your choice, or at least you don't have to start at the bottom, with the short dirt ovals.

The next game is unclear, seems the devs are not there anymore and the publisher i think is continuing the series in house, not sure.
But they said they are just building on NH4 and using the same engine still, Unity.
Only for the game after that will they switch engine for nextgen.
I find the demo fine, nice tracks but it is lower budget game.
Im waiting for NH4 to be on discount, which i never saw still. But it's 40cad now at regular price.

Or ill wait for news on Nh5.

Edit: just did a race again in the demo at Daytona and i don't have much bad to say really. Im not a expert on nascar but the racing is excellent for me.
Just enough challenge in the handling with a little looseness in the centre of steering, and some heavyness of inertia in the swerving.

Good fun challenge in a race to avoid traffic, the walls and pass the ai. Some yellow flags from time to time, sometimes only one car loses control somewhat in front and lots of smoke. Making you tense to try avoid crashing cars and not lose too much speed.

Easy ui to choose changes when you go pit, enough basic info on the race and your car status etc.

All works well to me, im even thinking to get nh3, and it's just 26.99cad too.

I just need check out nh4 more maybe on youtube to decide.
The demo is the full game i think, just a number of races limit, but its pretty generous, you can do full races of a few hours with qualify too.

Also the replay has options for highlights of the race, short, medium, long, or full race.

Edit2: just did a long race at Indianapolis, really like that one too. High speeds on less banked curves making the steering lighter.
The grandstands full of spectators are impressive on that track and you can hear the crowd noise, gives a little atmosphere.

Must be an impressive sight there in real when the stands are full.

Fun when there's a yellow flag to decide if it's worth pitting in. I like it alot, even with a 100 or 200 laps, it goes fast trying maneuver the traffic and maximize your lap lines and speed, and tires and fuel, constantly adjusting slightly your steering.

The exit on the last turn in Indy can be a little tricky, when you try keep your speed up and reach near the wall at the exit of that last turn. Lots of fun.

Oh boy, i watched some gameplay videos of NH4 with no aids, also with a wheel, it looks much more arcade than nh3. The player car keeps pushing and leaning on and banging on ai cars with no consequence, i don't know now.

In 3 you really need to keep the contact to a strict minimum, maybe a little too much but you can still recover from a light contact.

At 1st with the much meatier sounds and cleaner graphics and physics supposedly alot better, i was thinking i better get nh4 and not nh3 for sure.
Also more options to set your race like a.i. spread etc.

But idk, seems ridiculous now, also the drafting seems is alot more effective than in 3, i though in 3 it's pretty believable but more than enough already.
There's even side drafting.

Maybe someone who played both with no aids, and a wheel possibly could say how it feels?

I’ve played 4 on a Xbox with a G920 and really didn’t see a point to buy NH4 except for newer cars. The people I play online with on NH3/PS4 say the cars are magnets on NH4 and prefer NH3 over NH4.
I’m going iRacing before I buy another Heat but I do enjoy the game, cures my NASCAR, oval racing, itch.

I agree, more arcade than sim but still a fun game. See if you can find it cheap.
I noticed in NH4 there's many settings like lesser stability and recovery skill for ai cars, more impact effect for your car, less draft, etc. I wonder if you set all to hardest if it's near NH3 and more realistic?

Heat is not a racing sim.
Its Nascar. You turn left. It's all you have unless you do Daytona and Indy in Project Cars 2. Have you actually tried it with proper settings on? I guess you could also lump GT Sport into the not sim category also.

Was trying again the demo of NH3 on Michigan track, not sure if it's cause i was slower but i noticed the ai bump into me more.
Also not sure if normal because of side friction and not taking the inside apex well but i was loosing alot of speed sometimes and was slow to accelerate again, almost stuck 20 to 30mph slower than usual for a while.

Maybe because i was heavier after pitting and filling up fuel. I had no damage and no change in setup, and new tires. Not necessarily so good to fill up on yellows if slows you alot.
But good if the game simulates it.

Whats the difference between xfinity series and monster series? I'm guessing the xfinity is a lower series, but similar looking cars.

When i catch up to the inside of an ai it reminds and makes me feel to say to the spotter ' I'm gonna put him in the wall!' Hehehe.
Would be funny if the crew told you ' we put a special set of tires, you can floor it thru turn 4, trust me' or something like that haha....Days of thunder.

Still trying see if worth getting nh4 instead of 3, if i knew that setting all options to hardest will be similar feel and realistic challenge as nh3, I'd go for 4 for sure, with better sound, lots more options, etc.
I love it really, especially big fast ovals, and trying keep your speed up coming out of a turn and approaching the wall of the next straighter sections.

Not so much the road course in nh3, where you can see the limits of simulation.

Why would you get 3. It was terrible. 4 is good.

Just saw this on utube, short trailer too but shows nothing but shiny cars on a platform.
