Seriously. Some of my friends are calling me a hipster because of the music I listen to. :grumpy:

Do you guys really know what a Hipster is not judging on what types of music they listen to ?

That's because he's from the future.

I can't see how that one single item could brand you a hipster, no.

Now where is that Hipster pic of Cody that I made some time back....

Urban dictionary says:
Hipsters are a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, intelligence, and witty banter. The greatest concentrations of hipsters can be found living in the Williamsburg, Wicker Park, and Mission District neighborhoods of major cosmopolitan centers such as New York, Chicago, and San Francisco respectively.

Or Azuremen as others have said

To say that I rarely visit the forum anymore, and even I knew the link lead to Azuremen... says a lot, really.

Any excuse to repost a pic...

:D

Anyway, a hipster is in many ways like a dumpster. They hang around in cliquey groups at the back of Starbucks completely full of ****! :dopey:

I think I'm starting to get the general idea.. also if you are saying Starbucks is a place for hipsters then **** you.. Cinnamon bagels are good there.

Starbucks IS the hipster place. Hell, our resident hipster king is even from the area where it's from. I'm from the area, but I'm no hipster. I jump on bandwagons like there's no tomorrow.

Starbucks is the most overpriced and overrated coffee out there. And the Hipster level in Starbucks is above 9000.

I go blue collar and go with Dunkin.

Well, Starbucks inspired about twelve trillion cheaper, better coffee shops placed around the area, but there's still a ton of Starbucks around. My town is small for Washington, we only have four Starbucks.

Starbucks isn't really a hipster place these days - the small, more random coffee shops are far more legit for being hip, because less typical business.
