There might be some mid-engine 4wd owners out there - anyone running a Lamborghini or Bugatti?

A Carerra 4 would be rear engine 4wd.

If anyone has mid engine front drive, I'd suggest they might be driving everywhere in reverse.

I'd like an MR-2 MKII to play with. I'd also like a second generation RX-7. That would give me two more boxes to check on this poll (:

Hmm...

I would like:
- an early 1970's BMW 3.0Si sedan
- a 1.6 litre first series MX-5 (Miata)
- an early 90's Porsche 911 Carrera 2 (the series they first released the 4wd model - but it's not the 4wd model I want)
- the first model MR2
- but, most of all, if I win lotto, a bog standard R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R

`70's BMW ... interesting. I'm not much on Miatas - bit of a girly car (:

Who doesn't want a Porsche 911 !?!
The first model MR-2 was neat. It's really small and boxy. I think one of my cousins or uncles or someone had one. I was pretty little at the time so I don't remember much about it. I'd like the last 'true' MR-2, before they went to the MRS crap.

And who doesn't want a Nissan Skyline? Awesome cars ...

My top ten changes frequently.

Shelby Cobra 427 I'm an American male - it's hard to not love this car.
Mazda RX-7 duh
Ferrari 355 GTS Well ... it's cool

The remaining seven change from time to time. I'm diggin the MR-2 MKII right now. Oddly I've been liking the Celica TRD also. Probably from GT3 experience. I could go for a BMW M5, and a Porche 911 GT3. You're going to laugh ... but the Honda Oddessy is really cool ... for a van. I also like the S2000, Mustang SVT Cobra, and another American favorite, the Hennessy Viper.

Gee ... that's 11. Well it's hard to narrow it down!

Well, the 1.6 Miata slots into the kind of driving I like - preservation of momentum, with excellent grip and handling.

Anyone can be a hero in a straight line with a powerful engine, but I find it a lot more fun being quick in a not-so powerful car with excellent balance - which the original model (haven't driven the 1.8) had in bucket loads.

I think that's why I like my Liberty/Legacy. Not the most powerful thing in the world, but the grip/handling (actually, I have no idea how it handles - but the grip is extremely good) is fantastic.

Hey yeah, what's the big deal about driving a strait line? In "The Fast and the Furious" all they did was drag race. WOOP-DEE-DOO. I guess we're all Formula 1 and GT guys around here.

There have been several articles and reviews of the Miata that the authors claim it is "one of the most fun cars to drive", along with the RX-7 which doesn't get reviewed in the States anymore due to lack of availability. Everyone says both cars (Mazdas in general) are just flat out fun to drive. I bored myself through a video on Mazda's site waiting for the RX-8 information, in which the spokesman said their slogan was designed around the reviews and reactions of owners/drivers of Mazda's vehicles. He said people just love the "zoom zoom" feeling of the car, and they decided to use it. Oh, the RX-8 bit didn't come until the end (of a 30+ minute download) and lasted all of 15 seconds.

Jeez vat-man, you're poll-crazy today!

Front wheeler here. I've made a promise to myself, that this will be my LAST front wheel drive car, ever.

Either 4X4, AWD, or RWD for me from now on.

I'm driving an Accord, and I could see myself in another one in the future. I doubt they'll go to RWD, but I'd rather have a RWD. I really can't see myself going to something super sporty, because I'd either kill myself in it, or be doomed to get ticketted until they took it away. A 'sport sedan' is where I'll be for the rest of my life.

That would be you driving your front engine rear drive car in reverse (with bonus rear steer!).

Interesting you say that about Mazdas, Loud - I test drove a 626 when we were looking for cars 8 months agp (and bought the Liberty/Legacy) and I would have to say that car was one of the dullest I've ever come across.

The new 6 looks promising, though. Where's my AWD 2.5 V6?

Yea, the current 626 is poor. It's made in the US(part of the problem), uses many ford parts(bigger problem), and is way under powered(big problem). The new 6 is gonna have 220HP, 6 speed, and will come in 3 styles:4 door, 5 door, and wagon. Should be awsome, supposed to come out this fall...

im 14,and cant drive, but our family is all about car freaks,my mom is in the demo derby with a 78 cadillac el'dorado.i race lawn mowers.my dads a muscle car owner.

i got two cars, ill be able to drive them this summer, ones a Eagle talon with a turbo upgrade 250HP!! ,and the others a dodge
challenger with a 340 six-pack.

My Dodge Challenger is 1971 year model and is front engined, rear drive
boy i love this car

My Eagle Talon is pretty sweet,i think my friend is weird cause he says the front looks like a viper, well anyway,it has a Dual overhead cam 4 banger with a Turbo installed.....the year of this car is 1995,hey atleast its not a go-kart...
oh oh oh it lowered one inch too

You're useing the term "my" loosely aren't you. And while 250hp is pretty good, how do you know it's 250?

we dyno tested it.the talon is pretty sweet looking.....

but my favorite car has to be the challenger.....

ill use the talon for picking up the ladies,i dont think chicks like muscle cars

ahh. I see. I don't know about me picking up anyone in my 323, I don't think anyone would go driving with me. And I don't want people getting sick in it and blowing chunks because of my driving.

That's why I'm looking for a MX-3 GS, gees I don't even have my permit and I'm looking for a new car, go figure...

Uh - guys, most girls don't 'get' the car thing.

My most successful romantic period (before settling down!) was while I was driving a white Mitsubishi Magna (think marginally more interesting than a Camry) wagon.

That said, I did spend a month or so taking rather tortured routes to get to places to hide the knocking from the buggered left hand CV joint...

Hehe Vat...My brother did that when his brake rotor was screeming. It would only happen above 50 or so, so we took side streets to school. On the way home we took the highway(not really a highway, just a 4 lane road with a medean) and would go fast trying to get it to stop. 1 day we went 110 and we heard "sheeeee clakalakaakakaak (silence)" And it never made noise again. Then my brother got new rotors and found that there was a rock that got stuck into the brake pad and was scratching against the rotor, and when we went 110, it made a grove in the rotor and worked it self out(from heat I guess).

All of our other cars don't have problems like that.

Front engine Front drive here. If anyone is driving a Mid engine 4wd than you must be rich.$$$$$$$$$$
