Ouch

The last picture is classic.

Haha, I feel sorry for the guy, I mean that car would've been worth quite a bit...I wonder if he was alright, and uninjured?

How does someone own a BMW, but take it THAT far past it's limits? Honestly, did the corner sneak up on him or something?

I don't much experience in that model, but I know that the 3 series prior to the one in the photos, particularly early on in its model life was very prone to sideways motoring. Great fun if you knew what you were doing, but easy to be caught out, especially in the bigger sixes.

It looks like the car was in the dirt and when the front wheels made contact with the pavement, the front wheels were countersteering and then it couldn't grip the tarmac, so it flipped over since the weight was moving towards the pavement and the rest is history...

Why would he run his BMW in the dirt?!?!

I Feel sorry for the guy. Really hurts when you lose something that expensive.

Looks to me like he slid off the track and the wheels just caught the loose dirt/sand and the rest you know...

well only the body is damaged

so if i was him i would keep all of the mechanical pieces and sell them on ebay and make money so he can get a new car

or keep the engine for a swap:)

yeah, I think so too. poor fart.

Cano

poor stupid fart :P

Poor guy. Well, at least he was smart enough to take it to the track...

It being whatever is left of his car.

Actually Cobraboy, its just the seat. Its the headrest, just raised up. Plus the car is moving and its behind glass which can glare a little which makes it a little distorted. Look at it closely...

I used to have a 97 M3 sedan, and then an 01 M5, they both were amazing cars, but the thing about them is they hold so good, that when they finally do let go, it is usually too far gone. I luckily have never flipped any german vehicles, but I have spun out a time or two. Looks like he just pushed it too hard

Or maybe - just maybe - the passenger exited the car.

It might be possible, considering the driver exited the car and we don't expect the passenger to stay in it forever.

There was no passenger in the first place. That was just the seat head rest. It was high at first before he flipped, but after the roof crunched it down...

Look to where the arrow is pointing. If there was someone there, his or her neck would be there. When your wearing a race helmet, it cover's your neck.

Here you can see that the seat is the same color as the one in the pic above. Also, as you can see in the first picture, there is an empty space between the seat and the head rest and in this picture there isnt. This is because the rollover caused the roof to crush the head rest down.
