To me personally no racing game is better than GT5.
There are several games that come close to it though.
GRID & DiRT 2 where amazing for the fun factor.
The original DiRT and old Colin McRae's where amazing for rallying and beat GT5 hands down in that area.
Some older F1 games are great as well for the F1 side of things too.
GT5 overall is the best racing game to me.

I played the demo and it was crap. You brush up against the barrier and two minutes later you are still swerving left and right and left and right........
Wasn't a fun experience.

I'm sorry but I'd suggest playing it first before having a comment like that.
I thought Shift 2 "Looked good", looks can be deceiving mate.
I personally don't think Forza is that great a game for driving experience.
The only thing I like on Forza is the customization, I quite enjoy making replicas etc but for racing I feel Forza is not near GT5's level.

I personally like GT5 sounds now more than FM's which most people seem to think has the best sounds. And so how does saying sounds in GT5 are crap which make it a crap game? It's sad that this freak hasn't been given a warning about posting without any consideration to the people who joined this fan-site, because they enjoy the game. I don't go in the Forza section or to a Forza fan-site and do the same.

It's uncalled for and he should move on. Saying GT5 is **** because the sounds are **** is obviously not going to do anything, but irritate the hell out of a lot of us. Why should it be tolerated when it's obviously a **** comment?

I find it fairly interesting that you two are alright with PD cutting and pasting the sound from a V10 Gallardo and then putting it onto a V12 Aventador. I also find it interesting that you're okay with, what, synthetic engine sounds that sound nothing like an engine at all?
