Do you honestly want to make me believe that you're not smart enough to understand that?

*sniffles*

Something smells like crap.

Metacritic, my left nut.

...and you're questioning other peoples' intolerance of other views?

Next inane/abusive comment from you gets you a lengthy vacation. Practice what you preach, or don't post.

I'm still curious what makes forza a GREAT racing game. Explain.

Not sure that had anything to do with SimonK's question, and you seem to have a hard time separating GT criticism from FM adoration (hint: they aren't always hand in hand). Drop the "fanboy" comments, too.

But, to answer your question: AI that isn't a funeral procession, like GT5. Better physics. A better car lineup (for my tastes, at any rate). Community involvement. More in-depth tuning. A better attempt at consistency across the entire game - GT5 has weather, and it is indeed fantastic, but it's only on a handful of tracks. That's not even touching the Standards/Premium issue.

Just some quick point forms, and this is hardly an exhaustive list. Then again, "best" racing game is an entirely personal opinion. For what I want out of a racing game, FM4 just happens to check off more of the boxes than GT5. GT5 has a few cars I miss that just aren't available in FM - yet - like the Cappuccino, a better, proper Nurburgring, a much better Photomode, and the afore-mentioned weather (and time) effects, but beyond that, it just doesn't hold my interest for as long these days.

Thank you!

Since this is public, I should be able to show my side of it.

No, all cars sound like **** in gt5, thats why its a **** game.
It definitely was against the rules which for that, I apologize to you and Jordan for undermining what you ask of us to behave like.

Something smells like crap.
That was completely immature :(. I'm not being sarcastic.
Metacritic, my left nut.
In reply to what Spaghetti69 said. It was immature, I got carried away, and I apologize to him, because he really hasn't been behaving at all like mikecustom has so it was misdirected "frustration".

Do you honestly want to make me believe that you're not smart enough to understand that?
This was to Spaghetti69 as well, and it wasn't meant to be offensive at all. At the end of my post I figured out that he probably thought I was talking to him about the "this freak" comment. I didn't find it appropriate to re-edit everything else since it was a way of explaining why I insulted mikecustom.

I definitely don't disagree with the reprimand in this thread, since it sets an example. Hopefully, no temporary ban is needed. The warning, which I appreciate is just that, totally does its job.

I didn't think the Freak comment was directed at me at all.
I realised it was directed to someone else but I still wasn't amused.
Wasn't any need of it.

I accept your appology though, let's move on.

Out of curiosity, just how many other sim-cade racers are available or exclusive to the PS3?

This genre as a whole doesn't seem to have much selection compared with the previous generation.

Actually the PS3 comes off worse in selections bit there are a few.

Top of my head are

Dirt series
F1 series
Ferrari challenge and it's variations
GT prologue.

Er I'm starting to struggle.
