What settings should I use for great photo's

Hi guys just looking at many photo's here, and many are simply stunning.
Such clear shots at very high resolution.
I want some advice on getting the same shots, as mine are no where near as sharp as these images.

Thats the worst advice ive ever seen...

Just make sure that you are focused on what you want when you take the photo.

Many members also do a lot of post processing to ensure that quality is carried over to the web. Resizing will reduce quality so you might need to sharpen an image if you are reducing it.
 
if you want to shoot a moving car, set shutter speed somewhere between 60 and 150, then go to camera options (triangle) and select panning mode 2, it should give you some nice shots
