what songs you think should be in GT4

Tool - Hoker With a Penis
Nine Inch Nails - Perfect Drug
Nine Inch Nails - Head Like Hole
Deftones - Passenger
Radiohead - Creep
Radiohead - Just
Montrose - Bad Motor Scooter
Led Zeppelin - Kashmir
Led Zeppelin - Communication Breakdown
Jurassic 5 - What's Golden?
Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
Cardigans - My Favorite Game
Stone Temple Pilots - MC5

I guarantee that none of these songs will make it.

ya but even if none of them make it at least we know what songs would be great to listen (meaning that it would get us the most pumped up to whoop some ass while playing the game) to if we get bored with the music or hate the music that comes in GT4

they better at least make GT4 let you have the ability to plop in your own music CD to listen to while your doing a endurance race but if they don't at least bring the volume control (like the one in GT2) for the music and sound back not just selections to have them on or off

also on another thread that had to do with music for the games I remember seeing someone post something about that no one listens to music in real life when they race at a race track well the're dead wrong or they just never heard of SCCA club racing cause in some of the SCCA club racing classes it is not required that you have to take the car stereo out of the car to be able to race the thing in fact there's 4 classes where you have to keep it in as well as everything else and those 4 classes are Showroom Stock B, Showroom stock C, T1, and T2 but with the other classes where you don't have to take out much of the interior of the car in order to be allowed to race it I think you are allowed to have the car stereo stay in the vehicle just as long as you don't fool around with it while your racing (This doesn't mean you can't have it on). but I know this isn't proving that racers do listen to music when they race but I know what I'm about to say does. Last yr when I was at Lime Rock Park to watch my dad race (He races a Miata in the Spec Miata Class) I noticed in the Showroom stock classes and T1, T2 classes a bunch of the racing drivers were listening to music in their cars (while they were racing) loud enough that I could hear the music. So this proves that some racing drivers do listen to music when they race.

Nice list, but I still say either keep the Japanese versions Rock/Jazz soundtrack. Or don't even bother with one in the first place.

How about a really long musical selection. Like about 25 minutes long. Something like the last part of Abbey Road by the Beatles. About the last eight songs on that album are strung together. They've never had classical music in a Gran Turismo game.. 'Bolero' by Ravel and 'Scheherezade' by Rimsky-Korsakov would be good choices. Bolero is about 25 minutes long. Scheherezade is about 60 minutes long.

Junkie XL - Def Beat
KMFDM - Megalomaniac
KMFDM - Anarchy
Tracks from Fear Factory
Tracks from Pitchshifter
Tracks from Gravity Kills

More ambient/instrumental tunes

Dillinja - Listen to My Flow
High Contrast - Basement Track (Dub Mix)
Rawhill Cru - Mo Fire (Bad Company Remix)
Chicane - Saltwater
Fresh - Signal
Twisted Individual - Rusty Sherrifs Badge

could go on forever, but that sort of nails what types of music.

Most of you are probably thinkin "Now what the hell?"
but Techno and Rap just dont get me in the mood to drive fast, These songs do. Especialy the last two, unless your form the middle east or Canada you cant listen to the songs and not drive fast it's impossible. If you dont beleive me go to a dragstrip in the southeast you'll probably hear these songs 👍

again, i would prefer jazzy style songs from Japnese version of GT2 while driving, but for ending or intro, Van Halen's Right now would sound so great.
