What in the world has happened to Team Mac. I have a feeling this going to be a long year for Mclaren and Mercedes. Mercedes can't complain this year that they have a "CART" obligation dragging them down. And Mclaren need to get that car reliable and fast, and not just the engine.

And What the h$ll was the deal with giving Montoya a drive through penalty. That was a frickin' joke. I guess Michael Schumacher is the Michael Jordan of F1 (which he is), but that was lame. The FIA or whoever made that call should be fined.

The talk with McLaren is that the Mercedes engine is a bit of a dud - although as Coulthard quite correctly pointed out the car ran very reliably through pre-season testing.

Totally agree with you on the penalty - saw the on-board shot last night, and it seemed to just be a case of Schumacher washing wide on the inside - which was a function of him taking the dirty line down the inside after chopping across the front of the field. Dumb penalty.

Absolutely. Sometimes i think they are too afraid to give schumacher a penalty. He always gets away with thode idiot tricks he pulls.

In testing, the 2002 chassis with the 2001 engine was reliable and fast. I'm not sure what's happened to them since they've got to the races. And I think I'm probably joined by a number of McLaren personnel in this. Adrian Newey sounded very p***ed off in the interview.
