What will you be playing GT6 on?

This thread is really two questions. For those who are using a monitor, what do or you use to hook the PS3 up if you have no HDMI port on the back? This'll be a factor on whether I can get GT6 and actually play it on time.

Will you be playing on a monitor, LED TV or LCD TV? 4K if you have the copious amounts of money.

No upgrade for me at pres so I will be continuing on with my 46in Sony 3D Bravia LCD for the time being. Triple monitors would be great but I am not really up for outlaying for another 2 screens or 3 new and 2 more PS3's and GT5's and 6's at this stage. Would def 4K if I had the clams however

My secondary PS3 runs on a dell 24", hooked up by component. Thinking about changing that soon to HDMI/Display port cable.

I'll be playing GT6 on -
46" Sony bravia 1080p LED 200Hz
Sony mu te ki 7.2 surround
Connected by HDMI for display, digital optical cable for sound.

I'll most likely be playing on my 26" 1080i HDMi Panasonic with my PS3 Official Headset, though I'm trying to save up for something a bit bigger. :D

24" Samsung gaming monitor, 1080p via the HDMI socket, same monitor I have my PC hooked up to (though that is DVI port). Sound will go through scart cable into my hi-fi system.

In other words exactly the same as I've done for the last 3+ years.

Pretty sure this thread already exists, but anyway... 50" Panasonic 3D plasma. Onkyo 805 7.1 receiver with a battalion of subwoofers.

Video fed via HDMI to a 3D capable projector shooting a 163" image, audio is through fiber optic to my in need of updating 6.1 receiver but fiber can only carry 5.1. :(

24" LG W2486L
Sony cable HDMI model DLC-HD30GC
SSD OCZ Agility 3 60gb
Brainwavz HM3 Headphones

:D

37" Toshiba 1080p 60hz (I think?) 4 feet away from my face in my bedroom, with no external speakers.

Plain and simple 6 year old Sony Bravia 32 inch LCD. HDMI (obviously). Previously used Optical Cable for sound, but unfortunately my Bravia surround system rests in peace now... I currently use a cheap computer speaker system with regular stereo sound. It packs enough of a punch at least.

3 year old Samsung 50'' Plasma running through HDMI, LG 5.1 optical surround sound setup. Bought this setup for GT5 and it's still going strong!

Might was well give all info - 55" Panasonic 3D Plasma, Turtle Beach PX5, T500 w/ Basher Brake mod, Playseat GT and Buttkicker Gamer 2. It's fun.

I don't know what kind of display for GT6 at this point in time - but it would probably be a G27 steering the pixels that come up on it. And HDMI Ports.

One thing's for sure. It'll be playing on a separate console - PS3s are going cheap nowadays, and I'm planning to throw GT6 on a separate console, so that my GT5 game would remain hooked up - or else I'll miss the Ferrari F1 cars . . . or any cars and tracks that GT6 will leave out. And all my Midgets.

Where do I go when I want to drive an FPV GT around El Capitan? Come, now, GTGamer . . . you know where. ;)
Yes, my GT4 Save is live on a PS2 console, ready to go at any moment.

So, consoles galore stay . . . displays come and go, get changed . . . I'm hoping to get a 42 -46 inch Plasma (still seem to like Plasma) for GT6. I find that size is about the best in terms of . . . urm . . 'windshield size'?

But maybe not right away.

Great thing about electronics is that prices seem to go down, but functions get expanded and quality seem to be rising. There'll be a lot of sales this holiday season.

I used to have a 32" LCD 1080p until my brother threw an Xbox Controller at it. R.I.P.

I live with fear every single day that something might break my tv. LCD's are so fragile. Wii's, specially, are banned from being plugged in my tv :D

Other than that, I'm pleased with how long my LCD has lasted. 6 years of full HD abuse and still no dead pixels and loss of brightness.

Same as Travii, though it might only be for a few weeks depending on how Boxing Day sales pan out... :D
Ahhh yes, mustn't forget about the fantastic deals to be had on Boxing Day. I will definitely try to find something better to enjoy GT6 on :P
