I'm using Windows XP Professional. I think it's the best piece of software from Microsoft to date - I love it!

I am multibooting with 98SE, ME, Win2kPro, and XP Pro...

Depending on the application, determines what OS I boot into...

XP Pro gets the most use.

I'm running XP Pro as well. I love it, I just wish ATI had better driver support...

(You hear that ATI? I've gone public!!!)
;)

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition...:)

Is it worth the money? It came with my new Dell, but if it hadn't I'd be more than happy to pay the $200 or whatever it's going for. My last OS was friggin' Win 95... XP's a HUGE step-up from that.

$200! In Australia it's like nearly $1000! I don't know what edition, but I had a look at it and it's 900 and somethin' dollars.

That's probably just the conversion rate. I think that XP is 300 for the home Edition, and 500 for the Pro Edition if you buy them retail (From a store, undiscounted.) OEM versions go for quite a bit less though (100-200)

I have a multi Os comp with win98 and Win2Kpro. Each have there advantages. I got XP pro but I didnt like it cuz it was just wierd and my CD-R software didnt work with it

I'm running 2000 Pro at home, and I have a 98SE Desktop and Laptop at work. I chose 2000 at home because I want to be able to run lots of apps simultaneously and not have it crash, because I do lots of web development, and it really annoys me when my machine falls over.

98SE on the laptop so I can install games on it to play in hotel rooms/airports!!!

98SE on the desktop because I've not got round to installing NT on it!

XP copied? How and where?
Its easy if youve got an insider at a company that buys the pro version for all the comps at the office :D :D :D

I've actually got a copy of Win XP Pro, haven't installed it yet cause I need to back up all my shiznit on the hard drive to CD.

This hard drive needs wiped after the mess Winblows has made of it.

Well so much for getting Win 2000 Pro. It doesnt look like I'll be getting it from the person I was supposed to get it from. Why I have no idea. *sighs* Now I have to find someone else to get it from.

I'm running Windows ME, although I've never had a blue screen of death or anything like that. Snafus do happen, just not often. I'd like XP, but it's hardly a priority...
