I like the Gallardo, fully modified, works a treat, the Murcielago LP-640 is by far my favourite to drive, but it suffers in the corners, but fun to drive. Not tried the Supervolce, but out of the LP's, for racing, the Gallardo.
The Gallardo is the "best" simply because it's the only one you need to complete the game.

You also need a toyota vitz to complete the game, I wouldn't say thats the best toyota.
👎 Useful =/= Best
Not that the Gallardo isn't an amazing machine, I just hate your logic.
That's a dumb analogy and you know it.
.

Dead serious. If the Vitz drove like an LF-A but was 2/3rds the price, and was required to own when the LF-A wasn't, and you could only choose one of the two, then yeah, the Vitz would be the Toyota to get. But that's not the case, so your analogy is DERP...........Are you actually serious?

If the question is "Which one to get?" you most certainly do. Like I said, you're telling a noob to buy two cars he doesn't have to without explicitly saying so. Not helpful in the slightest. You dont have to choose one of the two.
If I had worded it like you did.. "The Toyota Vitz is the best toyota simply because thats the only one you need to complete the game", in the end you shouldn't be finding any problem with that. A toyota supra could nail a Vitz, the new FT-86's could do the same. Just because you need that one to finish one event (1 race) in the game, doesn't mean it is outright the best. As the OP said, He needs one for everything (General events), Buying a gallardo would just mean using it for that 1 event. Yes, He saves money, but its not the best car for every other event. Your limited to 1 car for one event, that doesn't make it the best car, but the only car you can use.
By the way, LFA isnt necessarily a toyota.

Your assuming he's a 'noob' or hes an amateur. You shouldn't be, all he was aking was what the best one was. Something you could assume, was that he already had a gallardo, since he asked for some good tunes for it. Technically its safer to assume that he has one, and you shouldn't recommending one he already has.
Perhaps I could have worded it better, but that doesn't make it wrong. Which events will the Murcielago win easily that the Gallardo won't? I'm at 86% and I haven't run into this problem yet. In fact, nobody in this thread has provided any performance statistics to show one is vastly superior to the other.
Well, The difference is you need more tuning to get the gallardo as fast as the murcielago. Yes, the murcielago might be more expensive, But assuming nothing, The murcielago is the faster car.
Please dont get me wrong, I am all for value of a car, something that can do many things and many events. However, with a game as big as GT5, I just want to enjoy myself, I know Im going to have it for a while, so Why dont I just step out and buy a car I like every now and then? Meanwhile, The super veloce is actually the best lamborghini, but for someone who wants style as well, I wouldn't suggest it.
The problem I had was that you said due to you needing the gallardo for an event, it is therefore the best lamborghini. That doesn't work. To test it, I did the same with a toyota example, What happened? You didn't like it. Just like I didn't like your example
Again with the semantics.
