I've looked, and I haven't seen anything about it. My apologies in case it has been asked and answered.

Has anyone done up a list of the highest paying individual races in the event list? Has anyone gone through the trouble of doing one by credits/time? Simply would like to know which events from the event list are the most effective for making money.

Thanks!

The world championship races, they give you the most credits, and they also take the longest, but they are the easiest way to earn quick (sort of) credits and they also earn nice level up bonuses/afinity bonuses

Any one of those in particular? I've been hiring a driver today to drive some in the 800 class world championship races, and that seems to give at least a decent amount of credits. One race I even got a nice 40K+ (well, nice compared to some of the other races). Still a very slow progress, though. :indiff:

Try driving yourself, that way you get tons more, also turn of some assists.
Leveling up will earn quick, quick credits too, after level 50 you get money rewards, I think by the time I got to 150 I had like 30 million credits.

If you only want cars, try the auction house.

As for wich of the races, I would go for the races with the ''random driver'' bonuses, those give extra XP, wich will lead to faster level ups.

Thanks for the replies. 👍

Didn't have much time to drive myself today, and the good thing about hiring a driver is that you can just start the next race whenever you think of it, while you're doing other stuff. I drive myself when I can. Just want it to make some money while I can't. And I want it to make as much money as possible, so I can afford all the cars I want to drive when I do have time to work on my career. :)

But you only level up when you drive yourself, or? I'm more or less looking for the most efficient way of making money without having to drive myself.

Don't have a Gold membership, and I don't think I'll be getting one either. A bit excessive for my taste. :indiff:

I seem to not be getting anything in these with a hired driver, or have I just picked the wrong races? The races I did today had a random credit bonus, and the good thing about that was that you actually get the bonus all to yourself, without having to share it with your driver. But I guess I'll just have to take the time and look at each individual race to see what the payouts are.

I think the easiest way i have made cash is by doing different rival races.

I'd like to stick to the event list for now, particularly because you can hire a driver to do these events.

Payouts are linear across all events. I'm not sure what equation they use but money payouts seem to rely on lap times. Let's say a good lap on one track is 2 minutes while on another it's 1:30. The The 2 minutes lap will pay more but will take a bit longer. That's what I've noticed making my way through the events list.

Hey man, welcome to the forza side. Easiest way to make quick cash is racing the old fashion way. How much cash do you want/ need? I could toss some your way within reason. You helped me a lot collecting all those Ruf in GT5.

As he doesnt have have a gold membership i dont think you'd be able to help him much. The ones that pay out the most seem to be the high end classes. Mostly anything from R3 - R1, and the championship races for each class also pay out a good amount.

Thanks for all the informative replies, guys! 👍

If the length of a race determines the payout, and there's none that's better in terms of xp/min, the longest races in the highest classes should then be the most efficient way to get your driver to make some money for you, due to the lesser involvement required on your part. Maybe I've already been running the best race I currently can, but I guess I was hoping there'd be some better ones.

Hi there, Bry, thanks for the welcome. Took me long enough, seeing I bought the game back in October, but have only really started playing it in the last couple of weeks. Also thanks for the offer, but as has been noted, I don't have a Gold membership. :( I might cave in eventually and just get one, but right now, it simply adds another 2/3 of the purchase price to Forza 4 and I simply wasn't able to justify it (yet). Haven't bought any further DLC for Forza 4 yet either, excluding what came with the Collector's Edition.

As for "racing the old fashion way", I guess you're right, and maybe I'm simply still stuck in too much of a GT5 habbit, of hording as much money as you possibly can as quickly as you possibly can, just in case you need it.

Money comes quite easily in this game, but unfortunately Event List winnings are pretty much the slowest way to get it. You earn the most credits from Rivals mode and Affinity/Level bonuses, so if hiring a driver doesn't earn you XP, then there's not much else you can do.

Have a go at creating a design or tune. Take your time, be original, price accordingly and then play the waiting game. I consider myself to be one of the worst designers (ok at tunes) and I've managed to make close to 20Mil CR from the storefront alone.

Judging from your post you don't want to put in the effort (I feel the same sometimes) so I would suggest working on your storefront. The SF in combination with occasional racing and rivals events should get you the CR you need.

I dont think effort is the case. He doesnt have Live so he's missing out on features that offer the best payouts.

I think I'm good here, thanks! 👍

I seem to have been doing the best races for my situation already, i.e. R3 world championship races. Highest car class I currently own, combined with the extra bonus of random credits. I was merely hoping there was a better way doing event list races, but I guess now I know there isn't.

I've actually looked into this a little further and figured I'd share it, as there may be other people around here who like to hire a driver to earn some credits while they're doing other stuff around the house. And yes, this now is particularly with hiring a driver in mind.

The best races to be doing here are actually the world championship races in classes R3 (800) and D (350). To ensure the best possible outcome, take first a competitive car. Simply check which cars tend to win these races, I've been using a Ferrari F430GT for the R3 class and a tuned up Abarth 500 for the D class, and these work fine for me. Then set it to Expert, and dial down the opponent difficulty to Hard. That'll give you the highest bonus percentage, 155%, while still ensuring a win (or at least make it highly likely, accidents do happen).

Doing the highest paying race in the D class, I make 28,350 in under 11 minutes.

Doing the highest paying race in the R3 class, I make between 27,275 and 47,775, depending on the random bonus, in under 13 minutes.

If anyone has anything else to add, please feel free to. :)

Edit: Yes, the R3 class pays a lot more on average than the D class, but I figured I'd add the D class for people who haven't gotten any R3 cars yet.

I'd still advise you to race the races yourself, if you want to get money fast... For example, there's a race onn Tsukuba Circuit in the C-Class Championship. 18 laps in total, takes around 20 minutes with a good car to complete.

Payouts are about 38,000Cr. for each of the two heats, so that alone leaves you with 76,000Cr. and you're going to level up every other time you do the event, which, in my case, adds another 220,000+Cr. to the equation. I also get an affinity level up every fourth time I do an event like this, which is 85,000Cr.

So, in total, everytime I do that revent, I receive quite a bit more than 200,000Cr. in about twenty minutes. It doesn't get much faster, unless you've got XBL Gold.

Welcome to the bad side lol Moved over myself a few days ago i earn good money doing online races and they seem to be more fun than on GT5 well worth the membership.

Yeah, just today I figured it's well worth the membership. Seeing I had one of them gift credit cards still lying around with $7 on it, and here I could get a whole 2 month for $2. Signed up, and immediately got me my Halo CCGT from the file depot. I'd say it was well worth it. :D

Thanks for the info. 👍 And it's not that I don't race myself, it's just that I don't want to get into the habbit of grinding, but have my driver do it instead. :)

BMW Production showcase(last race with smallest Cr. prize in the series) at 120% difficulty bonus pays out 14,000 for a <4 minute race with no other credit bonuses. The BMW Showcase Nurb race pays out 17k+ for ~5 minutes. So ~3200-3500 per minute with no bonuses other than difficulty. I'm guessing each track has certain lap times tied to certain classes. So 5 minutes on the nurb short track would pay the same as 5 minutes on Suzuka.
Your math has to be wrong. The lowest paying R3 world champ race is suzuka at 16,000. At just 100% diff. bonus you would get 32,000 with no other bonuses.

And you're sure you took the driver cut into account?

Well, yeah... The difference in terms of Credits per Minute for the different races are quite small, though, so personally, I'd just do the different championships for the races. Lots of different tracks, lots of different cars if you want to, and lots of credits.

Shouldn't get too repetitive.

Without the endurance races from FM3, grinding it out with a hired driver is barely going to be very efficient, I guess. But to each their own

Anyways, now that you're a gold member, try to do some rivals events. Loads of cash in a very, very short period of time.

Well, Gold Membership really does change everything. If anyone would have told me just what Gold brings to the table, I'd likely just have gone... meh... but now? I guess it's just one of these things you've got to experience for yourself. I've bought heaps of the expensive cars I wanted, a couple of V8s, couple of Touring Cars, I think all the Koenigsegg, the Bugattis, some of the nicer race cars, Lambos, Ferraris, including the 330, which I didn't take as level car at the time and thought I'd have to pay $9M for, my garage value is just about to hit $200M , and I've still got a few million in the bank. With regards to money, I think I'm good... I think I'm good. :D
