Anything Literature...

I love Math/Science, Art/Music

too bad I never took music back in high school.

My worst subject in school was English.

Funnily enough, I'm now an English teacher. It wasn't until I got to university that I realised the there's a knack to it - the subject is about meaning; what meaning you get from a text and how you get it - and started to realise it was actually a really good subject.

Reading, or used too. Mostly because, the teachers babied us even though about 90% of us could read a lot better than the teachers could teach, if that makes since. In fact, last year, my teacher said, and I quote:

"If you do not provide text evidence and support for every one of your questions, you WILL fail."

So I decided to test this theory, no text evidence or anything. I got a perfect score on my TAKS. The scary part of that however is the fact that that teacher is now my athletics teacher. :scared:

Oh and computer graphics. I think the teacher thought I was better than her. One time I made a realistic Stig in Fireworks for a project, following all the rules. Well, she gave me a score of 10 for that.

"Some say she's a bitch, or that she has a stick shoved up her ass. All we know is, she's my computer teacher!"

The one I really hated back in high school was Math. Until then I had always loved it.
Crappy Math teacher for 3 years in a row made me lose all interest in it.

When I was at school it was easily Art that I was the worst at. I still am very rubbish at it too.:)

Math, my teacher is a rancid old 🤬.

She doesn't let us open the windows in summer, I feel like I'm going to pass out.

I chose multiple ones.
- Math ,Algebra,Geometry
- Science and other branches including Physics
- P.E
- Multiple languages
- Music

Learning a language is the worst out of 'em. And I'm required to take 2 years of a language learning course. BS. :grumpy:

Irish class. I've despised it since I was 9 when I came to the logical conclusion that very few people (2% of the population, IIRC) actually use it in Ireland. I use Google Translate to do my Irish homework, I can't bother wasting time and brainpower on it.

EDIT:
We have to learn German :grumpy:
German is actually very easy to me. It seems like such a logical language, a lot of the words actually bear some relation to each other if they share a part, e.g. "brauchen".

We have to learn German :grumpy:

I had to learn both. Although I didn't have to do French. I'm taking German for GCSE simply because of how good I was at it...in Year 7 (it's still OK now but I've fallen down the class tables I feel :indiff: ) My teacher last year for German was a horrid one :irked:

My worst subject in terms of performance is easily Art. DT I'm not great at but I'm good on the computer no matter what the subject is. :D

I have German, Geography, Media Studies, Computing, Maths, English (Language and Literature), Double Science and IT for my GCSE subjects this year. Don't know which'll be worst of those...:indiff:

My worst subject is Math. Because of so plenty of numbers (Algebra).

What's yours?

Once you get to a certain point, you never use any numbers in math besides -1, 0, 1, and 2. Everything else is letters.

That would only distract you, that's the last thing you need :sly:

I get enough distractions in there as it is, with all the usual fighting, smoking and yelling that goes on every lesson. :)

One of our other teachers had something done to her breasts, big and creepy. :nervous:

Well I'm not a big fan of Music or Visual Arts, so those would be my "worst" subjects, but since I don't have to take them anymore, I'll say that Math is my worst subject.

Wow I was the me and someone else put down Music as our worst subject.

I hated math for a bit around grade school because I never really practiced it.

Now I can grasp math concepts pretty quick.

I put music. :dunce:
Can't play an instrument for 🤬. Or understand musical notes in the first place.

I'll have to come back to this thread a month from now. School starts up again next Wednesday. :(

My only question is how you can be horrible at playing music (unless you don't play at all). Just practice and practice, because muscle memory plays a big role in playing music. :)

I can't read musical notes or whatever those symbols are. No matter how much you teach me. :indiff:
If I can't read it, I can't play it. Most of what I manage to do is just a jumble of random sounds. I never can get a real beat going.
