Wheel, clutch standing starts.

Right here's my problem.

All ghosts are getting better starts than I.

My best effort is full throttle dump the clutch.
All other methods I've tried are crap.

Jump ace was getting a better start on a hot lap than I no matter what I did.

Any help guys ?

Hold the RPM near the redline instead of bouncing off, that seems to work pretty well.

You have to sort of find the sweet spot for the particular car you're using, too low and you'll bog down (and the dumb auto clutch will probably stall you) too high and you'll spin the wheels too much. Also, rather than just mashing the throttle to max as soon as the flag drops, try being a bit more gradual with it, especially in something with a lot of power.

I wish they'd dump that stupid auto revving at the start of the race. One second isn't a lot to find that redline but I guess it becomes easier with practice.

Ahh I'm having the same problem, I'm totally useless at starts with my wheel I don't know why but literally everyone gets better starts than me

My trouble is with the one lap top gear track.

If you play with the clutch enabled it doesn't do that, but it would be nice to get rid of it for everyone.

Haha, mine is exactly the same challenge, the ghosts always beat me off the line and I'm about 100 meters behind by the first corner.

In the Cee'd just floor it.

In the lotus, people are getting running starts by reversing around the track a bit.

Cee'd, I try flooring it but I still come off the line slower.

same here, nothing to do with traction etc but the ghost just jump off the line sooner.
