Trying to hook up a PS2 Logitech Driving Force (not GT) to my PC - Win 7 recognizes it no problem. NFS Porsche unleashed works nice everywhere else but in the control section of options it gets jumpy. I am still able to select "Logitech Driving Force" as controller, set the pedals y axis for gas/brake, and calibration seems ok in the "deadzone" section. When I start the game gas works but wheel is always turning sharp left and won't steer. Anyone have any success using this wheel for this?
Is there another compatible wheel that does work, and maybe i can rename the driving force to that in the registry?
Apparently there are a number of racing games that work with it, most of the newer NFS games, but the only other one i have is NFS World and I cant find where you select the controls with that.
Any help appreciated.

It was a long time ago, but I had the Logitech Formula Vibration Feedback Wheel and it worked with Porsche Unleashed no worries. It is a super crappy wheel with a bungee cord and some weak vibration. After that I had the Logitech Driving Force EX and it also worked OK. This at least is an FFB wheel, although still a bad one. Probably you can find one for a few bucks if you want something only for that game. The DFGT also does not work properly. It had some problem with the pedals, but I can’t remember what exactly.

I loaded it up and ran a few races when I first got my DFGT wheel. I don't recall having any problems beyond those that normally happen under XP and later where it throws you out to the desktop during some of the races.

My DFGT worked in the past but I just tried Porsche Unleashed last night and it wasn't. Same as OP. FFB works, actual analog inputs don't in race. Needless to say after blowing up my previous Windows installation just getting the game working, I'm pissed; so I'm going to mess with it until it I'd fixed and I'll get back to everyone.
