I am using a Logitech Driving Force GT with a GIMX adapter.

I have noticed when I apply the throttle, the display at the bottom has some strange movements. Initially the first half of throttle application is fine, then the latter half is a bit jumpy. It looks a bit like the throttle only has 5 or 6 positions for the second half and it makes throttle application quite tricky.

I was just wondering is anyone else on a wheel experiencing the same issue? I have tried 2 pedal sets and both have acted the same. This is also not an issue on any other game I have played.

Thanks. :)

It’s because the response curve isn’t linear. You have way more control at the bottom end of acceleration than top end.
Thanks!

Yeah that's exactly what it is. Is this an issue I have on my own or is it a game thing? I have spoken to two T150 users and they say they don't have any pedal troubles. This also doesn't seem to be a thing on the DS4 or at least much less pronounced.

It’s an issue within the game itself. Your pedals may be more affected by it, it’s hard to say but I’m willing to guess people just don’t notice or find it to be that bad but if you search around you’ll notice a lot of the higher up dudes saying how it’s super annoying and hard to be smooth on throttle at the top end.

Absolutely. It's not terrible, but it's very annoying when you're going for those last few tenths!
Here is what I'm experiencing. You can see how inconsistent and jumpy it is higher up the throttle display:
