Wheel Settings (In Options)

I have the FFB at 6, more it is like doing weights. I theink I have deactivated the steering aid, the first option in the menu, and have activated the power steering.

I would like to have an option to increase the vibration, not the FFB. In GT4 the vibration was awesome.

The settings amateur, pro and simulation have no use for DFP. You will see how the DFP icon lights off when you select these settings.

i use a G25, i use setting of 10, i like it stronger :)
but for realism 7 is good

and the two ONs OFFs are
one is for active steering, one is for Power steering...

i turn my active steering off , (its off by default)
and i turn my Power steering ON ( i think its on by default)

vibration? on a wheel.. hmm i just drove my car to college... and i did not feel it vibrate only when i hit pudhole ( SP? lol) then i feel the wheel shake or uses the forces.. I dont think vibration is necessary

Good point. However, if you were driving down a dirt road which was somewhat heavily traveled, the road would develop ripples like a washboards. Small ripples create vibration. Larger ripples can ruin your suspension and force the wheel to be erratic.

Another example of vibration would be if you have a front wheel that slung a wheel weight. You would feel the vibration in the wheel.

If you were driving on a road that was under construction that was in the grating phase, you would feel vibration in the wheel, as well as the whole car too ;)

On Daytona, some cars like the M3, Lexus, and R8 are nice and cushy, I didn't feel bumps in the track with my G25 in those cars. Not even the washboard you go across if you enter turn 1 in just the right spot.

But, the 430 transmits every little bump (and big ones) on the track straight to the wheel. Small bumps gives the wheel a vibration. While larger bumps, wall bangs, car bumps, lawn jobs, even when the front tires may be in a slide and suddently grip the track, these occurrences produce a jolt in the wheel or even a hard jerk.

Both of these sensations are much different from the feedback you get while simply in a turn and the wheel is trying to turn against you.

The G25 has a much more natural simulation of all of the above examples compared to the DFP.

Thanks for all the answers :)

I guess I will use these settings:

Simulation Mode
Active Steering - Off
Power Steering - On
Force Feedback - Somewhere between 6 and 10. I have to try what I like best.

Damn, I have to get a new computer monitor so I can have my PlayStation 3 on my room with my G25 set up on my desk.

It does not matter the simulation mode, those settings do not affect to the DFP.

yup these are the best settings you can get
and if you wanna modify buttons to your G25 go to the DFP settings... both wheels have similar layout :)

and remeber the triangle button while racing turns ur clutch on, just letting u know if u dont know this
so u have to press triangle ( very top button on top) every time u race

Awesome :)
Yep, I know. I changed the button to look left/right, but I really miss look back.

Yep, I know that, as well :)
I did some races with clutch (F430, Clio, BMW), but when I tried GT-R, clutch didn't work. I guess you can't enable clutch on that car?

yeh that car u cant use the clutch

only cars i use clutch is the cars that have the H stick shifter patter, and i turn it to sequential for super cars like the GTR F430, sl55 and so on :)
