Wheelstand opinion.

Hi, I need your opinion about these two solutions for mounting my g27:

Which should i buy? Don't you think the second one would have stability issues being only 33cm/1foot wide?

I've got the first one (Wheel stand pro) and enjoy it. It all depends on if you want the seat that comes with the second one or not.

I would think the first one would be unplayable with an F1 or X1 car. My G25 always becomes overpowered when driving one of the FGT, F1 or 2010 X1. My table shakes and it becomes a nuisance. All my settings are at the lowest level for force feedback and most cars are fine.

That single support with no real weight at the base to stabilize it looks like it would be difficult to control.

With the weight of the driver to help with the second one it would be better.

I have only sat in a few driving chairs/sims and own one that I don't have room to set up permanently yet. It's not available commercially though ;-)

Made out of aluminum and sits an inch off the ground, just like the Champ cars did (Indy cars or F1 close enough).

The wheelstand pro is really solid and had little movement, even with an X2010and FFB set high. The unit itself weighs quite a bit and then with pedals and your feet on it it's super stable. If you are a couch racer it's perfect.

The chair I just don't know how comfortable it is and how stable.

Ok so I'm getting a Wheelstand Pro, it should do the trick because usually I drive 400 - 550 pp cars and i sit on something like this:

From what i've heard the rennsport wheel stand should be better than wheel stand pro deluxe. They cost about the same.

There are many other threads out there using PVC the frame and filling with sand that can be built in less than 2 hrs & under $50 that I know others have built and swear by.

I found a Wheelstand Pro review by Jordan (here), if I searched the site earlier I wouldn't have to create this thread which BTW can be closed.
