Where are the long races?

Please execuse me if I just missed the obvious, having not spent a massive amount of time searching the event list, but my favourite part of forza 3 was the race lengths - there was plenty of 10 - 20 min races, but all the races I've done in fm4 are only a few mins long. And the quick race doesn't seem to let you specify how many laps you want.

Am I just blind? Or are there no 10min+ races against the AI?

I take it you mean offline? The world championship races at the far right of the events list grid are two races of six or seven laps with each lap taking around two minutes.

The Championship races for the different classes usually last for about twenty minutes per event, each even being split into two races. Aside from that, you could always open a private online lobby and set the amount of laps to whatever you want.

I'll check those out then thanks. I will have a poke around the private online lobby options as well. Still can't understand why they've never expanded the quick race options but I guess that's nit picking

There are no endurance events in the event list/world tour.

I'm finding this to be the best way to play against the A.I., the other upside to this is that you get access to every car, including DLC that you're entitled to. It creates virtually unlimited replay value.

Downsides, requires XBL Gold and the A.I isn't exactly fast, even on professional difficulty.

But you can assign each AI driver with a specific car to make them a bit more challenging too. So that's at least something. lol

That's true. With FM2s system link (could use that for custom races) I would have my S Class Mustang Cobra R against R3 A.I and that gave me a decent challenge.

Thank you for pointing this out. I was just wondering the other day if this was possible.
