Where can I purchase GENUINE Apple iphone headphones?

Hi guys,

So I lost my samsung headphones the other day (the ones that come with the galaxy) and I want to get the OEM iphone headphones as I hear they are quite good and I have never had them before.

I see there are only the $88 ones on Apple's website. But where can I get 100% authentic genuine headphones of the older kind (not the new $88 that come with the iphone 5). My friend bought a fake that has terrible sound quality.

I am in Vancouver Canada. Does anybody know of a reliable place that I can get it shipped to me at a good price? Or a local store in Vancouver :)

Thanks :)

Have you tried Amazon?
I expect there to be a lot of fakes on there....after all there is no filter right?

There is no way to tell if it's real or fake through the internet...they'll just put up real pictures and send you fakes.

Or is Amazon 3rd party sellers trustable?

They're better than the crap that was bundled a few years ago (pre-iPhone 5) but in the grand scheme of headphones they aren't very good. I only use mine when I work out. Just buy a pair of Koss PortaPros or something and pocket the change.

Yeah, as others have said I would skip getting more Apple headphones and just get some other ones 👍.

When I got my phone they shipped with Apple ones (the old style ones, as the phone was a 4S) and the sound quality was pretty poor. Lot's of noise gets leaked, which not only is a waste of sound but can annoy others around you. The bass is very weak and high pitched sounds can distort a little as well .

Instead, I just went to HMV and bought some Sennheiser earbuds instead (I'm not sure if HMV exists in America though, but they'll be on Amazon for sure). They only cost £25 I believe, and the jump in quality is huge. Bass is very strong, but not so much that it overpowers the pretty accurate high pitch sounds. The music has lot's of "weight" to it, much more than the Apple ones. 👍
And best of all, you can turn them up as much as you like without leaking sound as they fit in your ear, so you won't annoy everybody if your taking a busy commute :sly:.

Get good earbuds from a well known company that makes speakers.
Good ones will make bass sound much better.

I got some by logitech a few years back and it made my music sound so much better from my Zune.

iPhone headphones are rubbish in my experience (3GS and 5), I'd avoid them like the plague and maybe get some from a brand known for quality audio products.
