Where do i get a racing seat for my setup?

As titled, where do you guys get all your cool race seats for your cockpits from? Other than junk yards off of real cars, where can I get a cheap racing seat? I havent seen anything under $200 on ebay or online. It doesnt have to be a real ricaro or sparco, but i'd like something sporty and clean. Thanks. looking for best option for the $.

Auto stores should've bucket seats, Autobacs for example. Dealers should've some as well but that depends highly on the brand, some won't sell them to you even if they'll only trash them. Others might give them to you for free. Just call around.

How have you not seen anything for under $200 on ebay?

Just type "racing seat" in the search on there and you will find even pairs of racing seats for $150. Single seats sell for about $75 or so. These aren't exactly Recaros, but they look nice, feel decent, and you don't have to worry about accident safety since it's going to be in a simulator.

Where are you located? The best deals seem to be for people in the LA/SD, California area because that's where the shipments are usually sent to. There are ongoing threads on Zilvia.net's Group Buy section for cheap buckets (link) sold by Sonic Motor. Just half the cost if you want just one seat. Also, shipping can costs add up. In addition, it can take a few months, depending on when you order, and if they have it in stock or have to order it from overseas. If they have to order it, they wait to fill a connex box, then ship it out by freight. I really like those G3 JGTC style seats...

Before I picked up my rSeat EVO V3, I was going to build my own rig. I went to a junkyard and found a 2006 Jetta with leather seats. I purchased the passenger seat for 25 bucks. It was definitely my lucky day. However, I opted for a prebuilt setup and couldn't be happier.

Man, I swear I went ebay and searched for "race seat" and didnt see any of those. I did see the pair, but i only need one haha.. thanks for the post.. $85 bucks... thinking about that one..
