Where Has My Premium Gone?

Yesterday not only did GT Planet disable my account because suddenly the e mail address I've used since signing up was 'invalid', but now I find that the Premium membership I bought seems to have sort-of vanished too as my user name no longer shows in red .

Why has this happened, and what can be done about it?

Forum accounts will now become de-activated if they're associated with an email address that "bounces" messages sent to it from GTPlanet's server (for more, see the FAQ). While this is an easy problem to solve for regular users, there appears to be a bug in the forum software which does not restore Premium accounts to their correct status.

If this happens to you, of course, please contact myself or any other Administrator and we'll quickly restore your subscription.

If you're not sure if you're receiving messages from the forums, enter your address here and you should immediately receive an email with information on how to reset your password (you do not have to do so and can simply ignore/delete the message). If you received the message, your email provider is not bouncing or blocking GTPlanet's mail.

I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to correct this issue soon. As always, let me know if you have any questions.

I can still view The Infield, but I also seem to have lost the extra PM facility.

I've never had a problem with using my Hotmail e mail before yesterday, it's the one I've had ever since I signed up and I've always received the messages from GT Planet.

I assumed that "sort of" meant that the premo tag was missing but access to the infield was still available.

Looks like I was wrong. I guess she can still view the infield. But the quote in my post is still helpful.👍

I'm guessing that the same thing happened to Encyclopedia? He's got a
blue name but can still post in the Infield. He's the Stealth Premo

Automatic account deactivation is covered here in the FAQ. I see your Hotmail address returned an error when GTPlanet's server tried to send you a message, so it was deactivated. I have re-activated your account now; sorry for the trouble.
