where to get all GT intros

hello, all.

i'm looking for anyone who knows where i can get my hands on a digital copy of the intros of GT2, 3, and 4. i want all the versions of each, the japan versions, the european, PAL, NTSC, etc, in as good a quality to the original as possible. i know there are the internet videos of these like the ones on youtube and google, but those are in horrible quality.

i'm trying to make a combined intro video that will take the best feelings of all the intros and put them into one great video.

can anyone help?

I'm not sure if it is legal, because of copyright issues... If it is legal (I hope that if not, I won't be banned for promotion of illegal activities), then try to find people who can record it for you in the quality you want...

well if it isnt legal, then all these videos on gtplanet and on the net that have replay footage, and the gran turismo intros in them are illegal. using that logic, because i'm going to be using it in the same way as the users here on gtplanet with their videos.

sorry i dont talk on forums much so i dont know the ethics of it.

but i've seen people who have posted the intros on youtube and a few people mixed the intros up a little bit with music of their own, like this.

if you read carefully, i said that videos from places like google video, youtube, or other compressed videos have horrible quality. ESPECIALLY video.google and youtube.

and i need all the versions of each intro. NTSC and PAL.

Install a mod chip on your PS2, buy all of the versions of every game, buy a capture card for your PC, and record the intros from the games yourself.

With the quality criteria you've set into place, I doubt you're going to be able to find a good-enough recording for the intro for every version of every game anywhere on the internet, unless you can find several GTP members who have all of the various versions and all have capture cards themselves.

i thought so, man. i have plenty of TV cards on my computers. i record from my playstation all the time. but i dont have access to the foreign GT's so i'll just settle with the ones i got.

Yes - this is the difference. Intros are videos made by PD themselves, so PD are the sole copyright owner. Replay files are generated by user-input, so the user is at least part copyright owner.

So as such, it is not permitted to copy the intros. The videos you see on Youtube - and I've seen them too - are therefore not legal.
