Which car to use in ''Like the Wind'' lvl 21 A-SPEC Mode?

If you are going to cheat to get the car, its probably not good to boast about how to tackle a challenging event is through that method.

Using the Furai or the Corvette works wonders and I won this using a Furai without cheating (unless B-Spec is cheating).

Agreed.

It's just to easy to do a great feat without any dedicated work and brag about it though...

It will feel more rewarding when you tune up the Zonda R and beat them by less than a second. To each his own.

***SPOILER ALERT***

I did it with the Ford GT LM Spec 2 that i won in the dream car championship with. the oval is so easy and you can use it for the american race aswel

You have to drive near perfectly in these races.

Indy: Fully upgraded furai with Traction Control = 3 and ABS = 0 (off) for some reason i couldn't do it with ABS @ 10 like i normally do it. Just keep the throttle up all the way and take the inside line.... you have to block on the last lap... i won it by 0.028 seconds

Daytona: Fully upgraded Veyron with the tune from greatest335i listed above. I had the transmission set at like 261 or something. i topped out at 221 MPH around the bends. What got me at first was the freakin little lip in the outside railing just after the finish line. I would always hit it if i brake too late. With the veyron just brake a little early (most turns @ ~45 MPH) and gun it as soon as u pass the apex. I also took the little shortcut in the infield after the first turn. I could take that diagonal shortcut through the grass at about 105 MPH and still position the car for the next turn. I won it by 4 seconds.

Corvette ZR1 - RM + Tuned. Probably 600k.

I tried this car last night and got left in the dust. Made every mod I could, still no good (sorry for the rhyme).

All the cars the computer uses are level 23 cars I've notices.

Turn off all asists. (I always use ABS +1, since I haven't learned to control the car without).
Traction control and stability management is essential to disable when going full speed in the turns. The car is quite agreeable, so you won't miss the assists.

RM Z06 pretty much smoked this pretty easily. Surprising considering I was having a tough time trying to fully gold the All-Star with the same car with similar opponents around Tokyo and Cape Ring(Z06 struggles around both of those places for some reason). Indy was a breeze as the car only needs to lift lightly for corners and I can drive around Daytona RC relatively carefully and it was winning the race by ~6 sec. Surprising since around Tokyo I had to basically block the Group C cars the whole race since if they are out front they just pull a 20 sec gap by the end of it. Though truth be told I never master that track in GT4 and pretty much hated it...

Thanks, I'll give it a try after work tonight.

I beat Indy with the Furia. I had the Aero set to max and the car lowered as much as possible. I also bumped the spring rate up .5-.7 and bumped the camber to 1.5 front and back. I am pretty sure I had TC 1 and ABS 1, but this should probably be done with ABS 0. This is an easy race.

For Daytona I used my fully modified ZZII. To win this race I had to ensure I was in first place by the first corner, which was easy, staying there was a little tricky. On this track I would normally "cheese" the chicane, by cutting through the grass, but I found it was much easier to use a more conventional racing line. By the end of the race I think I had a 6 second lead.

this doesn't work for B-spec. I am using a modified mazda furai concept, and keep getting in 10 or 11th place!

Please can anyone tell me how to beat this in B-spec mode?

I used my 1000 Ticket car: Nissan R92CP '92 =D
That thing is a beast, indy 37sec, 360-370km/h round the corners, just hitting 400km/h on the straights. Daytona was also easy.

I used the Ford GT LM spec II race car or whatever. It's the white one with the big spoiler. It shows up in the used car lot for about 2.5 Mil. I've also seen a Jaguar LM race car that might get the job done too for about the same price. I actually beat Daytona with the Bugatti, but it couldn't take the Indy corners fast enough.

First post btw, sup everyone?

If you use the Minolta to win the A-spec Like the Wind do you win another Minolta?? I'm asking because I may gift the car to my friend to use and beat easy.

I used the Furai yesterday with all upgrades and failed miserably @ Indy.

So today I decided to get my everyday car, a Mazda 787b Stealth with all upgrades and Soft Racing Tyres. I crushed the competition by quite a margin, however the only con using the Mazda is that you have to let go the throttle at every apex, losing a bit of speed. However the sheer acceleration of the thing is just nuts, I was in 2nd going out of the first turn and 1st the next.

I won the Daytona race quite easy too and got the Minolta. I upgraded all the Turbo Stages and the body as well and went for a spin @ Indy. The result is insulting to all AI drivers, the Minolta might not have the acceleration of the 787b but you don´t have to lift the foot off the gas pedal at the apex, it just goes on rails.

I did the race in 3.24 with the Minolta and the minimum speed per lap was 355 kph...
