Which car to use in ''Like the Wind'' lvl 21 A-SPEC Mode?

A car with a lot of downforce is needed. Thus a street car will not work.

Yup, I used my Corvette ZR1 with race mods. Won quite comfortably.

My Bob Collins at level 20 is killing the All Stars race atm in B-Spec. Hes flying around the track in the Furai. Using it fully tuned with 25 and 50 downforce front and rear.
Audi R8 race car just passed as i forgot to whip Collins who eyed an opportunity to slack.
Funny how a car you win at such a low level event is able to dominate anything you can put it in in B-spec mode up to the race car events. Collins has been working a lot and earning credits while I've been attending other issues.
There hes at first again. This time i will not forget to yell at him on the mic.
Won by 8 seconds after passing the R8 on lap 8/10. Think it should be just as smooth on the next races.
Edit: I only managed to get second overall with winning the first race and the Nurburgring. The R8 was superior on the open tracks. Finished within a second of it on the other three races.
Seems there is no quick fix for this, and will go back to farming xp and credits to buy a real race car.

RM ZR1 made it easy with all the upgrades on it. Set the gearing for about 230 so if you get dropped like a sack of potatoes you can draft off someone and pull on the field. Though, I didn't have a C9 in the race I won.
A ZZII with upgrades will easily take Daytona, and it'll do it cheaply. Strangely it got smoked at Indy, even though I felt the speeds were competitive in the corners, and it's faster down the straight.

This is dead easy with the Furai. Just set the gear ratio to 248 mph, max downforce then slipstream like a fcuker, stay LOW in all corners, block when needed and never take your foot off the gas.

Yeah, this is the easiest way by far! Nailed the event with my 2nd try (stupid AI pit manouvered me at the last straight on my first try)

Just beat the Indi race on my first try with the Furai. I tried it with a fully tuned LP670-SV and Veyron, but those car couldn`t match the race cars.
Give the Furai 30/55 aero, transmission at 400km/h max and you have a good chance of winning this race. Just slipstream yourself to p1, then stay always on the inside line and try ot block following cars.

pay attention! It's a stupidly easy win with the Furai, it's like a no brainer... add racing soft tires and the stage 3 turbo, top speed to 400km/h and keep the pedal to the metal and in 3:45 you will have won the indy race!

And in doing so I lost the thread with the tuning for the ZR1. It understeers something enormously
... Hope it´s within this thread somewhere? Need to go to sleep now lolHow do you generally adjust oversteer vs oversteer in GT 5? I guess in this case getting the full aero kit it would be best to lower the downforce rear or is there any better way to get better turn in and throttle oversteer?
btw some mention the ZR1 will give you +900 hp... I get 875 out of mine?

I did the Daytona Road race in a fully modded Veyron (make sure an Escudo isn't any higher than about 3rd on the grid). I basically just took it easy in the infield then gave it full power down the bankings.
On Indy I won in the 787B Stealth, albeit by 0.001 seconds.
Go full throttle through the bends and you'll take the AI's pretty easily. Once you hit the front...look back when necessary, and when measures get drastic, just block everything in your way...!

You can pass Daytona with the Furai...
3rd try on Daytona and I won Gold...
Transmission to 217 max MPH, ABS = 1, TC = Off
The key for me was very steady progressive acceleration out of corners, as well as steady progressive breaking into them.
Also, I do have a G27, and feel like there might be no way to do it with the furai & a controller... But maybe...
