Well I belive that you can go wider with a 4WD, its not a problem to drift a RWD. It think it is at the same difficulty but the way I drift with a Skyline wouldn't be possible with an RWD, because I have the front wheels pulling me inwards.

I don't have a PS2 atm, but I can give you some pointers. Some options I recommend is:
* All aids off
* Max HP
* Full lowering
* Stiffening the suspention
* Super Soft Front
* Normal or Realistic Back

I think it something like that I use for drifting, and it's fairly easy to do extremly wide drifts.

(Note: I use the analoge sticks for both trottle and steering)

I like FFs because you can clear corners by stepping on the gas and the brakes at the same time. Using this method is very hazardous for FR cars...

i've only used one MR car ( NSX ) and i can drift good with it... FR is amazing as well... 4WD is tough for me for some reason.... i can get the car sideways n all, but i STILL understeer! i need help with 4WD drifting. So if anyone got advice...POST IT UP!!!!

i believe i have perfected the 4wd drift setup, check out my post here:

feel free to ask for advice.

4wd drifting is much easier for beginners cause if u mess up and u feel ur back sliding away, u floor the pedal, full countersteer and it will bring u back 95% of the time ;)

to outline the basics, vcd to 15%, asm to 0, tcs to 1, minimum downforce on the back, more grippy tires on front than back, and ur cooking :)
