Who do you think would be the best Solid Snake actor?

Tom Beringer - You have to watch the movie Platoon and the substitute to understand this man. I think he would be the best Solid Snake. If you watch the movie The Substitute, look for the part were hes fighting the principle near the end of the movie and listen to him. When he knocks down the principle, he yells out Get up! , I think it is. If I were in another room and heard him say that, i could of swore Metal Gear the movie was on

Mel Gibson a few years ago perhaps, but he doesn't have the physique he used to, and a skin tight outfit like Snake's might be better suited for Hugh Jackman. Christian Bale could do it to...

Indeed - I think Jackman would be too pretty for it.

Crowe would bring some good credibility to the role - Berenger's probably too old now, and Kurt Russell would instantly spell 'dud video game action crossover' movie to most people (well, to me, anyway).
