i have a heavy edit photo and i need someone to give me some constructive criticism.

Its my first time pretty much editing at all and im pretty new to Photoshop so im curious how i did for a first timer.

EDIT: i guess u could just judge it in here, i tried the rate my photo thread but it didnt get much advice :)

It looks pretty cartoony i'm afraid. Any realism the original photo may have had has been edited out of it. Not sure what you've done to the grass but it looks strange.

One more thing, how can it snow with no real amount clouds in the sky?

I think you should try a few easier edits first and progress onto heavy weather edits mate.

Just my opinion though. 👍

I agree with leeislee. Everything looks kinda overdone and cartoony.
I'd also recommend to look at some real life pictures as a reference.

EDIT: It's okay for a first try though. Heavy weather edits aren't easy.

yeah ive never been satisfied with it but i kinda was curious wer i was at. i couldnt figure how to do the sky or grass so i gave up and left it at that.

Ill try again some day. Ive been using photoshop for mabey half a year in graphics 1 in school. so im pretty new

we actually havent even learned how to make rain in our class yet. Kinda had to look online how to do snow but i couldnt find any sky or ground tutorials that would work on this photo.

does GTPlanet have a snow tutorial?

I agree with the guys above.

Good effort, right idea but over done, start with a sharp picture your wheels look a bit weird. By using a sharper picture you can blur it in editing, but can't sharpen blurred pictures.

The snow fall is very heavy for a sky that clear
Bit more spray/slush coming off your wheels with little bit going up the rear of the front wing/door and rear bumper
The tyre tracks in e road are a bit choppy you can see the edit repeat its shelf

Like I say good effort and well done for a first attempt but like leeislee said try with a small project and build up, or find a real photo on the net that's close to the picture your editing and compare yours with a real one and go from there

Keep at it tho
