Who Wants to See Goodwood Seasonal Events?

The Goodwood events in the career mode where a blast, we all can agree on that. I was thinking that PD could do time trails or "super laps" at Goodwood, like every month, and obviously featuring different cars.

We could all benefit since Goodwood is such a tight track and requires precise car control. I can also imagine the competition being awesome, and super addictive.

Let me know what you think.

No, couldn't care less about them. We got enough as standard in the game that rewarded well. What PD needs to do now is quit these boring, dull as ditch water 'super-laps' and give us proper races every 2 weeks like we used to get in GT5. Why are they not doing this? They are still doing it for GT5 so why not their flagship game?

Just plain races, with pit stops, weather if applicable. Qualifying and all cars starting on a grid. Try it PD it might work, we may like it!

Personally, I would love to see more Goodwood events added, they have been my favorites so far. But to be honest, I would just be happy with having a way to track best times on a per car basis for arcade time trials as I don't care about the credits or prize cars at this point.

I use Goodwood to test stock cars and it sucks loading up the arcade TT and seeing one of the faster ones completely dominating the leader board. One record per car and the addition of more top time slots would be awesome.

I would like some occasional Goodwood events, but as part of a wider variety of Seasonal Events. Mix it up rather than give us the same thing every week (twice a week this week!). It has gotten old very quickly :( - they need to try to keep people interested rather than drive them away. Since the hot laps this week relate to the cars you win in the career, as have ALL the hotlaps so far, I wonder what they might do when they get to the end of the cars you win...

And yes, I use Goodwood for testing too, and the single record per car as an option would be a BIG help! I think that would be a no-brainer as an option. 👍

I like the idea of adding more as time goes by

But... personally, I think their inclusion should be kept to updating the Goodwood challenge, separate from the seasonals menu item. You know, another letter from the lord inviting you to a new challenge he put together, thanking you for your previous participation and great work, and encouraging you to stop by for some more crumpets and fast cars ;)

Hmm...maybe an interesting way to present/introduce some of the new cars when they're added too...

Anyway, It's a series that I think is worth continuing past the "stock challenges one way or another. What I got from them (aside from the obvious:money,an event, prizes, some challenge) was a visceral feeling of the disparate (very different) handling of the cars chosen for the challenge. Really amazing to feel such changes in vehicle response in quick succession (I did the first 4 sets one after the other, 5th later on), at least for me, since I usually prefer time trial type events and don't really change-up on cars very often. Eye opener on things to remember when driving or tuning.

Hey if they put them in the seasonal that cool with me. Just suggesting a slight mod to the request for your consideration.

Like the idea of adding goodwood events as new cars are added, as part of the goodwood challenge. Bit like they are doing now I guess, except they are doing it with other tracks. I hope they add some events around the time of the real life event too - would seem like a good marketing thing too so win win.

They aren't doing seasonal races because they can't figure out how to get the cars to do dual row rolling starts on all tracks. That, and that they (PD) didn't want to be criticised for repeating the same formula as previous GT series games - 'chasing the rabbit'.

Personally i'd love to see some goodwood TT's

I'd like to see Goodwood used to preview new car's when they arrive. Stock HP and setup only.
This might give us an idea if we want to buy the car or not. Goodwood for every car I find useless.
Could be a good method for PD to baseline their performance specs. That along with the Special Stage banked oval.

The On-line lobby race configuration shows four types of race start preferences. None of the rolling start options are enabled. I think they can do it, I just think they know if they do the rolling starts manually and let drivers control it, some rooms will never achieve a proper start of a race.

There has got to be a reason PD built the game a failed to either carryover or improve upon fan accepted features.
They really need to straighten out the car handling dynamics, race options, car category selections and tuning options. Not enough filters, way too restrictive.
