who's the richest person in gt5?

I'm the wealthiest person in GT5!

At least I feel that way. I remote race 9+ hours almost daily, and thus have a few other friends that return the favor. It's helped me boost my car collection, and I've also made a ton of new friends. Every now and then some generous guys will send me some rare paint chips, museum cards, parts, even cars just for racing their Bobs. I've gotten at least a handful from them that I probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise (wife and daughter are more important, obviously).

Then there's the fact that almost each time I A-spec in the game, I learn something new or notice something I hadn't before. For me, this isn't uncommon as it took years for me to fully appreciate and grasp GT4. Yeah, there are things I'd like improved, but the game has more than paid for itself in entertainment value alone.

And my daughter wants to marry my B-spec driver, which is kinda priceless.

That being said, it is with a hugely inflated ego that I proclaim to be the wealthiest person in GT5!

Or is it the next guy?

Remote racing is the way to go, with all 6 bobs at their limit, plus the normal cash limit, a player can have 140,000,000 Cr. at any time.
I give remote racing 2-3 hours of my time every day, and in return, my friends race me and I earn 4-5 million per day.
This, alongside a few hours on seasonals means I can afford all the cars I want.

As for the original question, its me, because I sometimes feel like I am the only person who actually loves everything about the game:)

with the new seasonal events triple cash you will.... i reach 20 million in 2hrs doing the K cars seasonal event... 305,000 in 3 minutes

Your maths dont work. 2 hours = 40 races = 12,200.000. and that does'nt cover the reloading of the game that takes at least 30 seconds at least 20 offfthe 2 hour so losing aprox 5 races so 2 hours racing is nearer to 10,675.000 credits thus needing 4 hours to earn 20,000.000.

Now reading between the lines here i suspect you had at least 10,000.000 before you started but your post implies nothing.

At one point I had $40 million. I'm down to about $30 million right now.

But you could have $20 million per Bob and $20 million for yourself, so $140 million is possible.

I stopped remote racing cause I don't need more money.

I think all he people who don't grind but drive for fun are the richest players. All others aren't no matter how many credits they have.

Kaz is the richest person in GT5 since he got all our real money and not these worthless credits!

I have 20 million at the min but I'm not gonna waste it on buying a x2010 when I get to level 40 bit of a waste really buying a x2010. Plus I already have 12 of them :P

I'm the poorest GT5er, I only have 400,000. I need to get PS3 access to get up to 20 mill. I want to buy a 330 P4.

I also agree with this point but I have to admit,I did feel rather good after raiding the ocd this morning.

?is it true that each bob can have 20 000 000 cr. each?

Not to get too analytical..., but....

Kaz most likely isn't very wealthy at all. Game developers normally aren't. If a developer earns more than $100,000 per year, he's doing really well. You don't normally have millionaires coming from the video game industry. Even as president of Polyphony Digital, he probably doesn't bring home a fortune due in part to the fact that Polyphony isn't its own unique company but rather a subsidiary of Sony. Further, PD isn't really swimming in cash, as their own website lists them as having just 10 million yen in capital. 10 million yen converts to $124,177.26, which is one eighth of a million dollars.

Further, Kaz wouldn't really have our money anyway. Our money went to the studio, to Sony, and to the stores we bought the game from. When last I checked GT5 had sold over 6 million copies (not sure what it is now), so even at a full $60 each, that's $360 million in sales, but not $360 million going to PD. I don't know how much they actually do get, but they'd need $80 million just to earn back what they invested in the game up to release. Surely they did profit from it, but it's not pure profit, and that's really just money that's going into current projects rather than a pool full of money to swim around in or to line pockets.

I haven't hit the limit with any of my Bobs but I have had some of them over 10 mil each so it sure looks like the 20 mil limit applies.

If you use the remote widget and use a slave account to race all your Bobs continuously you can build your accounts amazingly fast.
