Why are my Forza Motorsport 7 framerates so low?

I was looking at benchmark results from Babeltechreviews: https://babeltechreviews.com/the-re...eference-rx-6800-xt-the-rtx-3080-in-37-games/

I assumed he used the ingame builtin benchmark although he doesn’t really specify, and I maxed out my settings like he did. In the benchmark, my 4K average FPS and 1% lows are 104 FPS and 90.7 FPS. His are 110.7 FPS and 100 FPS. My 1440p results are 127 FPS and 109.2 FPS while his are 137.1 and 120.9 FPS. My 1080p results are 137.2 and 113.9 FPS while his are 146.8 and 125.2 FPS. Why are my benchmarks so bad? How can I fix this?

What is your CPU? The i9-10900K used in the benchmarks in the article is a really high-end CPU, and frame rate is typically more CPU-bound.

I am using a 7600. Is that worse than a 10900K? That definitely makes sense if a 7600 is a lot worse.

Yup its because of your cpu, the 10900k far more powerfull and superior compared to your 7600. And at lower resolutions you need a beefy cpu with high clocks to keep up with the gpu. Thats the reason why he gets more fps at lower resolutions.

Oh okay thag makes sense then. So it’s expected for my performance to be a little worse at 4K and then significantly worse at lower resolutions. That definitely makes sense. I won’t worry about that then since these benchmarks look good in light of that fact.
