You guys have been great and giving me advice and I'm going to buy a new wheel and pedals

Unless I change my mind because of this frustration, I plan to buy the Fanatec Elite PS4 wheel.

I do not need a clutch so I only need two pedals but I want the load cell brake pedal that you have all talked about and it does not come as part of the original starter kit

I've spent a couple of hours on their site and even tried to open up a chat but you have to be in existing customer to do that.

Outside of them I can only buy from Amazon but they aren't qualified to answer questions

Is there something I'm missing because I want to buy but I have a few questions and I don't see a phone number to call?

Keep in mind that load cell brake requires significantly greater pressure, may feel like a legs day in the gym.(at least for some people)

Ok. Now this is interesting.

I game for fun after a stressful day at work and I didn't realize this would be overly physical. So, I GREATLY appreciate your comment

In fact, any knowledge I gain on this subject is from this site. And you, personally, have helped me more than once

So, I can now ask this question:

What might be the next best thing that might not be as physically grueling to handle?

Heck, maybe in the process I save a little money

It depends on your physical condition, but load cell brake requires significantly greater pressure than T150 brake pedal.(two pedal set)

I want to ask what you think about the T150 pedals(two pedal set),the exact pressure for you, slightly soft, too soft or slightly hard for you?

My physical condition is no problem. My legs are strong. I just did not want to have to work that much harder to play a game

I find the pedals for the t150 very light, almost like a toy. I would not mind petals that required a little bit more of me

FWIW, I've always stuck with the squishiest of the polymer options with the load cell brake for a similar reason that you mention. I don't want to have to stomp on the brake pedal to get to get 80%. With this one, it has more resistance than the throttle (good), but as I run a lot of cars without ABS, there's enough give to be consistent with threshold braking (also good). I find it a nice balance. 👍

They have many contact forms on their site to send an email. It's a small company so they likely aren't setup to have people taking phone calls full-time.
Don’t really know how small Fanatec is, but Endor AG is publicly listed. So there should be public information out there.

You should not expect same day response when you email. But I generally had responses the next day. Or you can ask on this forum. Plenty of people here with Fanatec gear.

Do you have any idea how that pedal set compares to my T3P-PRO with a rubber cone mod?

I just got the CSL LC pedals and came from T3PGT pedals, which should be similar to the Pro. The built quality should be similar, being both made from metal.

I liked the feel with the conical mod. The initial spring resistance feels better then the pu foam with the csl lc. But when you get used to it, dialed in the right bushings and muscle memory kicks in... you won’t want to go back to the conical mod anymore. The gas and clutch are significantly stiffer, with the clutch being stiffer then the gas.

You can not use the PU foam by the way.

To be fair the load cells are very adjustable and can still be setup to be extremely light.

The main benefit of it being able to use pressure rather than brake travel like a real car.

The LC pedals come with 3 sets of elastomer springs with varying hardness (soft, medium and hard). I use the soft one and have it set on my wheel to 40% strength - with this setting, it feels about the same as the power assisted brakes on my car.

You can of course use the hard spring and set it to 100% if you want to build up your leg muscles

Thanks to everyone who weighed in.

Even though I never spoke with anybody, I made the order based on the good reputation that they have. I went all in and added the load cell brake

Outside of a Galaxy note phone every couple of years, I don't like to spend money on myself. But, with 3 daughters and a wife, I'll likely not be getting a race car anytime soon!

Originally, the email said it would be up to 3 weeks for delivery. Then I received another email today that said it would be delivered on Saturday.

Just pay extra attention to the wires and connections when installing the LC pedals and moving the present brake to the clutch side - you don't want to crimp the wires and lose the connections.

Thank you.

I'll be alert to that now.

A little nervous about doing it myself.

I really don't even want the clutch pedal. I'm fine just using the paddle shifters.

What do you mean? I meant the Pu foam bushing that comes installed with the elastomer springs. I didnt mean the large insert that comes with the standard brake.
Yeh I mean the 3rd foam bushing on the actual rod, you can take that off and just use elastometers.

The orange/yellow part is the foam you don’t like right?

Oh ok. I know you can replace it with elastomer. But i’m Trying to get used to it. I have it set up like a sort of deadzone.
