When i create a livery i disable the car number in racing items but when i enter the sport mode the car number appear on my car.Problem is the place of the car number usually above of a important part of livery which i dont like it.Why pd forces us to use car number that dont allowed to change its place?Car liveries are personal stuff they shouldnt force us to use them.

The car number shows your DR position against other racers. Dont know why it should be necessary. Maybe to see your position against the others ? It is not that clear during a race especially when you focus on the race so I dont really know why.

If you create a livery that already has race numbers in a box on the side does the game replace just the numbers or do they get covered up completely with a whole new box shape?

↑ That's why my liveries are mostly worked around the place where the number is put and got the number board that better fits the livery in the same place.
Being able to move them in a specific range would make things a lot easier tho 💡

Sport Mode is competitive racing mimicking some kind of real life racing so you can't just race with a car without a number.

SO you either have to use liveries that are Sport Mode compatible or live with it :)

Sport mode allows every assist in game. Its like using aim assist in csgo ranked match which is not allowed.I dont think car numbers are necessary anyway.

I am also in the camp of disliking the door number on cars in races but it doesn't just apply to sport mode it also sticks the door
number on cars in the offline campaign race events which is annoying because that's where I tend to do most of my race photo's.

As others have said it does kind of spoil a persons livery so I hope one option we have in the future is that we can hide the door
numbers or at the very least hide them when doing photo's.

It gives you the complete number plate.

I appreciate that every racing car needs to have a number, but they should at least give us the option to move it.

I agree. For several of the cars, the hood number is often distorted and cut off. Have you seen the hood number on the Subaru or Mitsubishi Gr3? (I forget which one). Which ever one it is, has a horrid look, it's all chopped up.

Another terrible placement is on the VW bus, why they even bother to put a roof number is beyond me, and it isn't even straight...

Yes this is not a glitch.Pd does that on purpose.
Yeah PD have a sense of order when it comes to presentation in its games. Just a case of keeping this thought in the back of you head (the number thing).

Well, every racing league has its stickers, so does GTS.
Either work around the Stickers, or live with it!?

I've done several liveries that can be used in sport mode, with or without number plates. You just have to work around it (like Nuschel already mentioned) ;)

Here are two examples

Works with sport mode plates just fine :)

So it is the Subaru with the messed up hood number. The Mitsubishi, which has a relatively smoother hood than the Subaru, does not have a hood number.

I don't race for Subaru in GTS, but if I did, I would be furious to have the number where PD has placed it. They didn't think it looks horrid upon placement?

Then you have the Mitsubishi, which has tons of room for a hood number, but it doesn't have one.

Not the most consist decisions here...

Wow @daan, the GTS number on the Nissan is so crooked. I can't believe their number placement in this game. It looks almost as bad as the Subaru...

May I ask why you put Dodge logos on a Mustang?

Well its okay to force numbers to put your car but at least we should place them freely.

I don't like racing numbers as well, it does ruin the livery, especially if it's on top of my waifu :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I can see why they do this though, which is to reflect real life. But still, at least add the option to both move it to anywhere I want (to the window so it won't appear) and the number type so I can choose the minimally obstructive number type

Yes that is quite an annoying since I race a lot of waifu livery myself, one reason on the ones I have created myself that I always
place the numbers on the cars so that it doesn't ruin the decal placement too much.

I don't make waifu liveries since I suck at making them and I don't want to make my waifu look unpresentable, but I appreciate livery artists like you who take into consideration the racing number. Nothing beats having Sagiri being in full view :D

Ram decal on hood and mopar on rear roof pillar

Edit: and hemi decal next to front wheel

HEMI swap :dunce:

You have Dodge and Hemi logo on the hood, hemi on the side and mopar behind the window. All of which are dodge products.

Now I feel like an idiot. Totally got confused there :boggled::lol:
Thats what happens when you loose yourself in the editor. for hours.. :embarrassed:

Huge fan of the livery otherwise, its beautiful!

Thanks a lot! :)
And I will edit it soon. So you can use it too, without bleeding eyes :P

And btw, we germans don't see too many american cars on our roads...if at all! (I cant remember I've seen a Dodge here at all, even in Berlin)
So I guess thats why I chose the wrong decals :D

Agreed! It’s a very nice livery. I didn’t even notice the dodge decals until someone said!

I have fallen foul to that too! I made a Pennzoil livery with Mobil1 decals and I’m sure there has been other instances where I have made the same mistake because I don’t know what half the decals are!
