Some kind of fuel economy challenge might be interesting, but I’m not too excited about a one-make Prius race.

I actually really enjoyed that challenge in GT4: Prologue. For the dopey teenager I was at the time, it was actually a fun way to demonstrate how the hybrid systems worked. I’ve been hoping for something like that to return in every game since.

Weren't there some challenges in GT6 like this, too? I'd love to see a new series of challenges like this in GT7, perhaps using various hybrids, from road-going models like the Honda Fit Hybrid, to endurance racers like the Porsche 919. The latter could even have you see how far you can get at Le Mans. I don't know how it'd work with all-electric models like the Taycan or i3, though...
