Why Do some of my cars get top speed then go down and then back up....???

I'm guessing you're bouncing off the rev-limiter.
Make your final drive and/or top gear a lower number.
This will allow a higher top speed for the same rpm.

Or set your Autosetting to a wider setting, shich accomplishes the same thing pretty much, just not as precisely.

When you hit the rev limiter ususaly that mean that your car
gears are not match with your hp . So what you need is longer gears the best way the do that is auto setting. put that up some.. And keep on testing it!

Your gears aren't set wide enough . . . move the Auto Set to the right to widen the gears.
