why doesn't PD creat a site like the one forza motorsport has, I love teh idea of reading about the game from devlopers , and an offical game forum.

it will keep the fans happy until the release . Unless there is a site of this kind then just lock this thread

I would be willing to bet that Sony and Polyphony Digital are watching this place.

I would be willing to bet that Sony and Polyphony Digital are watching this place.

I would put alot of money on that bet but PD is a Japanese company, and KY can't speak English well if at all, so they may not frequent this site.

But I'm sure gtplanet is the largest GT website on the internet so if they wanted to see the largest English GT website on the net they would come here.

I think the only official English Gran Turismo site will end up being built inside GT5's online community...in other words, to post at the official GT5 forum you will have to load up GT5 on PS3 and go from there.

I think that's the best way to do it. Doing it that way will keep GT5's online community strong.

I love FM site too, it is cool to talk with other fans and have Devs chime in occasionally, and release new info directly to the fans first. But since PD is Japanese I don't expect it to happen, allthough having a forum on the PSN when you have GT5 in is a great idea. It would also be cool if you could upload your pics to the site, track your stats, ect. like you will be able to do in FM2, either in game or on their site.

I think this place does a better and less biased job than any official site would do. You start coming here for the Gran Turismo news and stay here for the other off-topic (non-GT) threads.

Yea I would say that too, except that on FM2, there are many like me who criticize the game from an objective p.o.v. I do the same here about GT. Many on the Fm site are pissed about losing some tracks and the so far inferior graphics. There are a lot of threads that are negative, so I think the only bias there, or even here, are Fanboys. The Devs also are not gonna bash their game at all, but getting new car list and stuff before anyone else is the biggest reason I go there.

Id bet Japanese can read english just fine. Wouldnt make assumptions of interviews.
Also webenglish is simple enough that majority of TV generation can understand it.

On subject, it is kinda odd that bigger games/etc. havent adopted a trend of creating a forum for themselves, especially when game lifespan is known to be quite long.

don't get me wrong this is the best place for any GT fan , but its diffrent when you get news directly from the Devs , it makes info more concrete and accurate and it elimantes roumers and speculation , and it actually gives the fans something to look forword too.

Maybe somebody should e-mail PD and tell them to come join us here :D

People like our Croatian friend amar212 are more likely to post breaking news on Gran Turismo than PD themselves are. You only have to visit any of the PD sites to see just how tight lipped they are over GT news.

I'd be worried about there being N00Bs everywhere. of course, strict administration can prevent that, but still...

Polyphony doesn't do it because there'd be so many repeat threads, repeated questions, stupid posts, and general idiocy that I'm sure no company would want to pay money to host, regardless of how much it "helps" the fans.

Except Turn10, Bungie and many others.

the idea is its not just a forum , but more atleast a site with more info interviews , blogs of the dev teams , sneak peaks , info ....ect some thing for us to read about GT5 from Week to week until its released
