Why everybody only drift with 800HP

Hi the GT Community.

My observation in Online drifting is , Why everybody only can drift with 800Hp cars ?

It is really hard to find a Tandem Lobby with propers street drift cars and less than 350hp
like Mx5 Mk1 or the S13 !!!!
I mean cars with realistic settings as a Drift car Budget.

I am really motivate to create a community around this here and after in the game with a "special" Lobby or something like that.

What do you think about it, some want to join the Street drifting Club adventure ?

I would be interested. My only drift car is an FC-Rx7. However I am not very good at tandem drifts and and trying to sort out the car as well.

Because, I wanted someone to have a little laugh. That's what I enjoy doing. Making people laugh.

Sometimes, the drifting community takes itself WAY too seriously. It's a freaking game. Have a little fun.

Don't talk to me until you can drift a Fiat 500!

You should look at the gtp drift community i know most drift within 300-600hp cars with CH.

Usually I drift with a fully modded gtr35 on 10:90 , it just feels great to have a beast under the hood that wants to explode and make you spin out as soon as you mess up playing with the gas pedal,

Going back to slower cars makes it easier for me , usually drifted with an mx5 online cause it's just

2. Dutchyfutch , I think it is really easy to drift with many HP because the car drift when you want even in a straight line and also you don't have to use the Hand-brake or the transfer of mass because it drift when you want.
3. The only challenge with cars with 600-800Hp is to find the setting which permit you to go straight when you gas !

1. negative its not about the power with a majority of us. there are a lot of missile lobbies held by gtp members RSM being one of them. it just seems you are running with the wrong people. go check out the VDC competition, I believe the "slowest" vehicle that is registered is a Miata and even he keeps up with the high HP cars.

3. Drift cars are built to go sideways, but again its all throttle control and how good you are at controlling your car

Event Settings :

- Comfort Hard
- Less than 380HP
- Full simu execpt Abs Available
- Only FR/MR/RR
- Wait each others to tandem during the and every lap if there is a lot of Drifters.
- Change position every lap, I hate people who always want to be at the back !!!!!!
- Respect each others
- Tap Wall often you can
- Door to Doors
- And of course HAVE FUN

Because people are trying to drift with racing softs probably. That or they are mostly power sliding.

I guess you mean me with the Miata in VDC

Yep I can keep up with most cars in tandems and I never saw a lobby with people using 800hp cars but I only join people from GTP anyway

Thanks , see you soon with my Miata Hellaflush to kill some tyres and door2doors but I just bought a Driving force Pro so I have to relearn how to drift with a 900° steering wheel instead of the controller ! So if you have so advices you are welcome !

Try my Miata tune without SC and 200-250hp should work good for beginners 👍
