Why is ther not tuning in the US version of GT5 Pro

MAKES NO SENSE TO ME! i have the JP version and there is tuning but i cant do jack crap in the us version AND on top of everything i cant play any of the cars i won in the JP version on my US so i have to start all over but i guess that not to bad :-)

You can tune after you beat C, B, and A missions. Good luck, IF you want to there is a save that has complete A, B, C, and S events and 2 million credits ready for any car you desire or F1

Just play yesterday Online. Just few races on the HSR reversed. Earned lots of money.
I wanted to finish all the races, so mostly I was playing Single Player .. Once I got to S.. too hard, and I kinda cheated and Downloaded a Save file from a member ... F2007
So now that I have freedom of not Doing the S races, I will be online more often.
We should set up some time and what Circuit and what cars to choose

Sounds like a plan, I'm actually waiting to do the S class events till I purchase every car, i'm making it my own bonus.

I have been mainly doing the 700pp races at Fuji and Suzuka, there is some good competiton every now and then. I drive the black F430, im off work today so i've been playing nearly all day and should be through the night.
BTW, if i swap a little paint with you it's cause i'm using a controller, my friend has my DFP. I'm getting better and better though.

I've got the JPN version, and I can tune my cars in both online and offline events, except for the time-trials.

Because someone said in another thread that he got gold in A-3 event by tuning his car ==> brakes to 10. I have the EU version and I can't tune the cars in the events ==> C-B-A-S events.
So, or this person is lying or the he has a different copy.

Yes he did. however he finished C B and A events before hand, some "NOT GOLD" that unlocked QT and then he went back and got gold.

You don't ask dumb questions

Finished event C, all gold

Finished event B, 8 gold, 2 silver. => B-3 and B-8

Finished event A, 9 gold, 1 silver. => A-3

Finished event S, 10 gold.

Finished all dealer events, all gold.

I cannot tune the car in QTS. The menu where you can tune your car and change the gear ratio, brakes, tires, hp, weight, camber, toe, etc...

I can only access the menu where you can choose Manual or AT, professional or standard, ASM on/off, ABS on/off, ideal line, etc...

So the game should have popped up with a window telling that you had unlocked QTS.
Then a few pages of the manual explaining how it works.

Scroll right a little past the race option icon looks like the head of a bolt .
And you have the QTS icon ? Looks like the top of an open end spanner?

Isn't the QTS locked for a-3?

Adjusting the TCS, ABS and brake strength is still possible if you use the live dynamics.
edit: and if you use live dynamics you can set the ABS to 0 without having to unlock the QTS

Problem solved. Dust driver is right. I misread the post of that other GTP member that said he had tuned the brakes in A-3. It is possible. He explained it. It is the in-car settings that pop up on screen while you drive where you can tune the brakes, ABS, TCS and something about the 4WD.

Why in the world wuld you set ABS to zero? aside from mabye the old corvette is there even a car in GT5P that dosnt come with a OEM ABS system?
