Why no Force Feedback on Downshift and Upshift?

I'm wondering why there is no force feedback when upshifting or downshifting. It is a very characteristic thing on cars. e.g. Aventador with single clutch shakes the car vs. Huracan shifts very smoothly. It'd be great to have even a basic bump on the steering.

Does it exist and I don't feel it because of my settings or does it not exist at all?

Can't say for certain on the wheel, but you call feel shifts up or down on the dual sense, the whole things 'jerks'. I assumed it would be same on the wheel (can't test since I'm waiting on Fanatec to ship my base). If that's the case, and it only works on the pad, then its a big omission for PD.

Get a ButtKicker (or similar), then you'll feel them :)

I am on PS5, and yes it's not as good as on PC for all of the affects but gear change is one that works great on consoles.
How do you have it connected since there's no optical on ps5 anymore. I've been wanting a buttkicker for a while now.

I have a TV with a headphone jack so I use a splitter (one to the ButtKicker and the other to my Logitech PC speakers). HDMI splitters are another option. It's only an issue if you're running wireless headphones, which I also have and am yet to find a workaround for.

Edit: I've also heard of people running sound bars and using the optical out from them.

Hmm the splitter might not be a bad option, I will have to see if my tv has a headphone jack. I've looked into splitters, but the resolution isn't high enough and I'm worried about latency.
