Wil be nice with time trails
I think a limit of about 8 cars would be feasible for racing on it. Probably only low-mid road cars though. A pack of supercars might be a bit much but then again, it is just a game. Safety/wrecking is not a concern.I won't say it's impossible, but very, extremely unlikely you'll ever see Isle of Man in GT7. And I personally couldn't care less.
Pikes Peak on the other hand...
But I doubt it would be released as a track where you could race cars in. More like a time trial thing, which is exactly what it is IRL. I wouldn't mind it that way to be honest. Maybe race against one car only or so. But certainly not 20 cars in it. Maybe as a mission where you have to overtake cars across the whole track like you had in GT5.
Fatalities at the TT Circuit by year. The isle of man track will probably never happen after tonights death of a good rider in the tt race
Okay I understandFatalities at the TT Circuit by year.

.. and it still pretty much gets its own game. Mark Purslow's death will not be a factor in the TT circuit's lack of appearance in GT7.
How effing sad. I just hope John McGuinness lives to a ripe old age. Still racing there, aged 50, after having won something in the vicinity of mid-twenties TTs. Amazing. The isle of man track will probably never happen after tonights death of a good rider in the tt race
IOM, highly doubtful. It's a HUGE undertaking for a track not suitable for racing at all. It'd be literal years of effort all for a track that most people wouldn't even have the interest to do one lap, and could serve only for TT.
Pikes Peak, much better chance. They've held the exclusive license for 5 years and whilst it doesn't happen in real life, you can hypothetically race multiple cars on it as well as TT. It's wide enough. Could even be this month, just before the real event.
It was strange though as to why they were seen taking photos around the course a number of years ago.I think a limit of about 8 cars would be feasible for racing on it. Probably only low-mid road cars though. A pack of supercars might be a bit much but then again, it is just a game. Safety/wrecking is not a concern.
I was talking about Pikes Peak for 8 cars, not IoM.It was strange though as to why they were seen taking photos around the course a number of years ago.
I think even 8 cars would be pushing it a bit too much - see I actually live on the IOM and the roads really aren’t that wide and usually have a pothole every other corner knowing the efficiency and dedication to keep the roads safe courtesy of the IOM Department of Infrastructure. Also there’s sooooo much details that would have to be made it would take almost forever to recreate so you are most likely correct in terms of the circuit being highly doubtful. I even find the course made for the TT Superbikes games aren’t entirely accurate enough but resources were probably limited. We can only pray at this point but I do think Pikes Peak will return but whether it’s at full length remains to be seen…
Surely they wouldn't go to all the trouble of modelling a fraction of PPIHC rather than the whole thing. GT2 had only the top due to hardware constraints, but it was made 23 years ago for a console with 2MB of RAM. If we get Pikes Peak, then we get the whole thing, the tricky question is whether we'll get a gravel or mixed version too...We can only pray at this point but I do think Pikes Peak will return but whether it’s at full length remains to be seen…
At least one person dies there every year it is held. Big fan of real road racing and unfortunately it is not uncommon for riders to die. They know the risks when they are sitting ready to start at the top of Bray hill. The isle of man track will probably never happen after tonights death of a good rider in the tt race

TT is never coming to Gran Turismo, it has its own game anyway.
Pikes peak I would imagine has a strong chance of appearing.
This is one of the scapes already in game. Can’t remember which ones as I’m away from my PS5 at the moment, but here’s another one with my EscudoView attachment 1216812It looks like we got a pikes peak teaser dating back to late May when they first revealed the Suzuki. The top photo was sprinkled into the launch material for it. All of the photos released were from what appeared to be existing scapes or race photos.
I saw this shot in the recent News article about the development of the Suzuki VGT and immediately recognized it. The google maps placement isn’t exact but notice the rocks in the foothill on the left and the L shaped field on the right are a match.
Is this the first in game look at Pikes Peak?
Yes, this was noticed at the time. It's a scape, so no, not really "in-game".View attachment 1216812It looks like we got a pikes peak teaser dating back to late May when they first revealed the Suzuki. I don’t believe we have a Pikes Peak photo location?Yes, this was noticed at the time. It's a scape, so no, not really "in-game".
IOM very doubtful. If there was any PD interest maybe it related to tentative plans for Tourist Trophy 2. With an IOM game that seems to have been scrapped.
Pikes Peak has stronger links. PD still has the exclusive rights. The Pikes Peak Quattro was added in GT Sport when you’d expect the regular WRC model. In GT7 Pikes Peak cars now have their own menu catergory. And we’ve just seen the Suzuki VGT promoted with an official GT7 scape/photomode shot at Pikes Peak.
Oh, and it’s the 100th running of Pikes Peak this year.
