Will car/paint etc gifting make a return to GT6/7

One aspect of GT5 that I quite liked and used a lot was the gifting. I was quite disappointed when the feature was dropped for GT6.
Are there plans to re-implement gifting in GT6? Will it make a return along with the 'community features' if they ever make an appearance?
And if not, is gifting something being reconsidered for GT7?
