Will GT5 or FM3 ever have this feature? Make your own track?

I am hoping that one of the two major racing sims will someday have the feature to create your own tracks. I'd love to be able to recreate my local tracks in the game and share it with people.

Anyone think this would be implemented over an online update, or something GT5 could be incorporating, which would possibly be a reason its taking so damned long? That feature alone, would trump the other series completely, and be a surprise feature that would blow me away.

I know... just dreaming, but it would be awesome. Even if it was taking pre-created track pieces and snapping them together to form a unique track in the game.

Anyone? Would you like a feature like this? How cool would it be to practice your local track on GT or FM?

You were supposed to hit the space bar to shift when the engine pitch sounded right.

It was still horrible. You get excellent shifts when you shift on the rev limiter... Fail.

The one I didn't get at first was the reaction time one. I thought you were supposed to stop the dots in the far left blue zone.

Theoretically it sounds great as a feature, but, maybe they should focus on car customization first and foremost.

Imagine having to design an entire circuit, the average circuit is designed by teams of engineers, that's just the layout, now you have to think about the environment, where the pits and stands are gonna be, grass runoff? sand runoff? Japan, America?

It's a game on it's own(PD ahem, GT Track Creator game) because it is way too complex to simply incorporate as a feature, in an already jam packed game.

The Flash GTPSP minigame was more centered around learning the track rather than creating. And it is a great tool i hope there will be many little "quizzes" in 5 like that.
