Having found out that Project CARS 2 will run on Win 8.1 despite both Steam AND "system requirements lab" saying it won't, will Forza 7?
I'd really love to buy it but dread the thought of upgrading since (among other reasons) I have so many programs on my Win 8 PC that I can't bare the thought of downloading again... I also don't want to buy another Xbox One just for one game, because I'd need to buy a new wheel & pedals as well.

Googling the question doesn't give me a direct answer, nor can I find one searching this forum unless I'm not being specific enough/too specific.

I think it needs to be the latest version of Windows 10 as well.
I know when I tried to load Apex I had to update Windows 10 before I could download it.

Yeah, I think you need Creators Update. That's what they say anyway, and I imagine T10 would be stricter on this than SMS.

Yep I think it says under system requirements it needs build 1703 or later which would be the creators update.
Apex said the same thing about the Anniversary update and would not download to my system until I applied that update. Afterwards it loaded and worked fine.

Project Cars 2 will run on Windows 7 and later, so long as it is 64 bit and has any service packs applied.

Just to confirm: I hadn't updated my gaming PC to Windows 10 version 1703 yet, but Forza 7 wouldn't preload until I did.

I think all future Forza games will be for Windows 10, so either update the computer or get a new one. And why do you need a separate Xbox ONE to play it?

I upgraded to Windows 10 today. And when I mentioned buying another Xbox One for one game, that's because I had one but sold it a while back.
Doesn't matter now anyway, I'm Forza 7 ready on my PC :sly:

Nope. Not only will you need Windows 10, but also the Creators Update. trust me; I tried, but the game kept telling me my OS was not within the requirements.

Thank gods the Creators Update hasn't given me any trouble...
