I'm not a long term GT player so I don't really know how PD did things in the past so hence the question below.

I bought GT6 in december 2013, played it I think about a week but then didn't play anymore due to RL hobbies... until the middle of january 2015 where I decided to pick it up again, and I really enjoy the game at this moment.

Since I didn't play for over a year I missed all the game updates with the events where you get the free Vision GT cars or other cars like the 20 mill credits classic Jaguar. Based on PD's history do you guys think at some point the Vision GT cars or those other price cars will be offered free in an event again? Or should I already buy the ones that look interesting? Of course I got the first Mercedes VGT for free but I just missed out on the event with the Mazda or Chaparral. :(

Also with the release of Project CARS in March, do you think PD will try to release a content update around the same time as well? To keep current players from walking over to that game? Project CARS looks really interesting but since I don't have a PS4 yet and my G27 wheel would be incompatible with it, I will stick with GT6 for a while.

And, a bit off topic but I will add the question in here as well, I saw someone on a YouTube video mention he got 25 of the 15th Anniversary cars. I bought my game back in december 2013 from Amazon.co.uk, I got 5 of those cars in I think it was the Torque pack and 5 of them as a preorder pack. Is there a way to get the other mission 15th Anniv cars as well? By means of a DLC, download code or something?

I thought all game stores worldwide back in the day had one of those packs and then the preorder pack so I wonder how someone could get all 15th anniv cars in the first place.

I know some of the paint chips have been repeated but none of the VGT/reward cars have. The way I see it is the VGT cars are a reward for participating online for that period of time that they are available, since that time has passed they are no longer winnable thru seasonal events.

The 15th Anniversary cars were an award for purchasing the game thru a specific vendor or a preorder... they might or might not be released as a DLC at a future date only PD will know that answer

annoying part of the AE cars is that you are stuck with that color

Yeah well but it's a unique colour and they come for free, it's still good IMO. And if you really want to change the colour there is always the base model as well.

I still wonder how someone can have 25 Anniv cars then, does that mean they bought the game 3-4 times? Or were there some stores that offered all the anniv car packs instead of just one + pre-order pack?

i got 25 from EB in canada

Ok that explains it, some shops gave all the packs then. :) Or would that have been from a Collector's Edition of the game?

I got the cars from the Precision Pack (because of preorder) and the Torque Pack (Amazon.co.uk). Think I just got the standard edition of the game though, I'm not sure.
