Will RALLY/offroad be included in GT5 or a GT5p update?

:nervous:I just tried searching and didn't come up with anything conclusive. Does anyone know if there will indeed be rally/offroad in the GT5 or the GT5p games? I'm loving GT5p for now, enjoying the drifting a lot and the racing is great with the G25. But i also did enjoy an occassional rally event. thanks for any info.

As far as I know, nothing yet. Since the previous 2 games had rally, it's a fair assumption that they will have rally again.

As for GT5P probably not.
As for GT5 let's speculate that they'll have actual rallying events like in the WRC rather than races around a dirt circuit.

I hope that GT5 will get rally/offroad. I put in Dirt a few nights ago and had never played it since I bought my Driving Force GT wheel. Wow what a lot of fun, the force feed back was awesome. Needless to say I gave the wheel a real workout the other night. Unlike GT5P where you movements are relatively steady and precise, a tad different in Dirt. I have yet to try the wheel with Gran Turismo 4 and the rally events. Too many games so little time :)

Rally stages or a pikes peak hill climb would be AWESOME. But the regular dirt races would be fine with me as well. I just enjoyed the off-road feel rumble of the wheel and the overall driving style of rally. I love drifting and rally is full of that. :)👍

[edit]-Dirt does seem like it would be a lot of fun with the wheel. I actually get LOTS of use/turns out of my G25 and before my DFP went on me in the drifting. Whipping the wheel all over is lots of fun, and pulling of nice clean drifts brings me much joy. Almost as fun as doing it in real life! Incorporating rally with the G25 and the clutch seems like a nice combination to me.

I'm sure there will be some rallying just like in GT4. As long as they have Swiss Alps I'll be happy. That was the only one I really got into and had a lot of fun with.

The more serious rallying courses around Tahiti, Grand Canyon etc were always more a bit of a chore for me just to complete the game.

Hopefully not in an update for GT5P. You wanna have something left for the big one right?

Swiss Alps is not really a rally course, it's too wide. Grand Canyon was my favorite.

I have a feeling that rally will be very hard with a wheel and force feedback, should be a leanring curve no doubt.
