Just like what they did for GT5, so why not for GT6?

I was thinking this too. Forza was advertised last year in these locations and I am not sure how long that was to last. Hopefully we will see Gran Turismo advertised at 24h du Mans again. Back where it belongs! If not GT6 then PlayStation 4 could be as the campaign for that kicks off during the Champions League Final on 25 May.

Yeah! Gran Turismo is part of Le Mans!

I would love to see GT6 or PlayStation 4 advertised on the Toyota TS030-HYBRID. With it being Japanese you never know. It would be particularly nice to see it as Toyota wins 24h du Mans 2013. Come on!

True that! Sony better call up TMG and make a deal on supporting their TS030 LMP1 if they want to make more fans & support!

Yes!

Toyota and GT have a good relationship.

Put a few GT6 stickers on the car and my God it would look good.

Also they need to bring back the ads for PlayStation in the PlayStation/Xbox chicane, and at the start of the Mulsanne.

I was thinking about this too, I was disappointed last year when Forza was being advertised instead of Gran Turismo whilst the whole field flew down the straight.

Bring back the Playstation Chicane!

Gran Turismo 4 was a part of Le Mans, too, if I remember correctly.

I hope so. It would most likely bump up sales when the game is released. A lot of people are going to be buying the PS4, meaning the GT6 wont have as much sales as it could have since its being released on the PS3, so advertising at Lemans will counterbalance that.

Something tells me advertising at Sarthe would not rake in a lot of extra sales; chances are people who are watching already are well aware of the series.

GT has little connection with the modern race compared to other franchises - other than the track's inclusion, it is sorely lacking in cars we'll actually see during the race - but I would assume they'll have a presence again this year 👍

...PD and Sony have good standings with Audi, too...

Doesn't anyone remember the Audi Playstation Livery?

GT5 lacks of premium race cars. I hope GT6 give us something more.

I don't really see why they would bother when simply running GT Academy during last years' event garnered a lot more attention than from the actual commentators than any of the Forza stuff did.

Both Sony/PD and MS/T10 advertise at Le Mans. MS/T10 currently has the name for one of the chicanes (replaced the PS chicane name). I was at the 2007 event and MS had the xbox branding on the main straight, with the inner village having both Sony and MS booths with racing sim rigs.
The PS branded Audi R8 shown above isn't from factory Audi sponsorship, but from Team Oreca. Factory Audi sponsorship has never done a gaming company sponsorship deal to my knowledge. Peugeot has though, and had both MS and Sony sponsorships but they left Le Mans/WEC racing altogether last season citing economic reasons (or because they were tired of getting their butts kicked by Audi!).
I fully expect both Sony/PD/GT and MS/T10/FM to be sponsoring cars or have advertisements throughout the track.
