Happened for GT5, so why not Sony promote their next GT at Le Mans this year? Or support a LMP1 at Le Mans/WEC?

Le Mans is 2 weeks after E3, so its possible to see billboards, but I doubt a car will be sponsored. Maybe next year

Last year Forza ran sponsorship there and if that was a multi-year deal then no, you won't see GT6 sponsorship at the event.

Well their last sponsor was with Peugeot and they no longer race in Le Mans.

I suppose they could ask another team but I don't think so.

Could be!
I think they will be sponsoring the Nissan Deltawing team because of their close relationship.

Sony and MS have been promoting their exclusive racing franchises at LeMans since 2007. I would expect both to continue. I was at that 24hr event in 2007 and both had cockpit booths in the 'inner village' along with sponsorships either on the track or on cars.
Personally I love the competition. Both game franchises are great and both seem to be secretly after each others space. Before Peugeot had Playstation logos on their 908s, they wore xbox 360 logos. Also the first chicane down the Mulsanne Straight changed from the PlayStation chicane to Forza Motorsport chicane.

As a side note, if anyone ever has the chance to experience this epic 24hr race, GO!!!! You will love it.

MS do have that multiple year deal, plus Gran Turismo is practically an official sponsor of the Nurb' 24 hours, every car ran with Gran Turismo on it from what I remember of last years race.

I'm sure they'll be at Le Mans in some form or another, even if it's just a booth.

GT will have a Le Mans presence of some sort this year. Microsoft may have sponsored the race last year, but GT Academy was still brought up constantly in the broadcast.
