I highly doubt there will be a third one, at the very least NOT by SMS. They had a major falling out with EA, and have gone their own way. They are making a new game, which you can read about here:

I hoped so but as stated above Slightly mad is working on Project Cars wich in certain way can be seen as the new Shift with waaaaay beter physics
