Will You Be Buying Pcars 2 Physical Or Digital?

Physical - I've pre-ordered the Collector's Edition, as there are very specific reasons for wanting the art book ;). Same with the LE tin version of the first game. Besides which, I prefer physical mementos of stuff I've had a small part in* :)

Physical always, and more with games i really want.

Don't see still the benefits of digital buying at least on PS store because you find physical games from realese at same price or lower.

The physical game can also be resaled easy and take some money back.

Digital - When the game is officially released, it saves me from having to wait around for the physical copy to install first. At least with the Digital copy it'll already be pre-installed and I can fire the game up the minute it drops :D.

Digital, but from a quick glance on PSN, the special editions look pricey.

I'll probably go with the standard version at launch and pick up DLC as it's released. I've been all digital since PS4's launch, worthwhile if you can wait for the weekly sales for most of your purchases. The convenience and peace of mind having a 'mint' copy can't be beat.

Digital. A while after launch, when most bugs are fixed, & it's in the sale half price or less.

Digital all the way. 100% guaranteed day 1 delivery and no need for disk swapping in my XBox (I prefer to keep that drive free for BluRay movies)

I've gone digital for the first time with this one. I think I was sceptical of digital in the past because of download issues. But now, in the age of fibre broadband, I see digital as more reliable than a disc with the risk of getting scratched etc.

Like the first pCARS, I bought pCARS 2 digitally (collector's edition with season pass purchased at the same time, and with pCARS 1 owner discount applied). It seems these days when you're buying a PC game, you're going to buy it digitally (e.g. Steam, which was and is still being used for pCARS), not physically. I mean, look at some of the computers - desktop tower cases, all-in-ones, and even laptops! - they don't have an optical drive of any kind (or provisions to install one)! It seems digital distribution of games are the norm - the future is now - and it applies not only to small indies, but also big AAA titles.

Even if there's online distribution, console games are the ones more likely to be seen with actual physical disks.

(Also, we in the USA cannot buy those expensive physical collector's editions that the EU has, including that model McLaren...)

Physical for me. I do not have a large monthly allowance so anything over 25G is a problem. Doom was a disaster for me trying to update that one.

I prefer to use what data I have on YouTube vids and fetish porn.

Physical for me, two main reasons:

- I want to play on launch day, with my internet I simply couldn't do that with digital. What will be the download be, somewhere in between 20-40GB I'm guessing? That would take me at least 3-4 days, but more likely over a week, so even with preloading I have no hope. I'll take my chances with Royal Mail, and hope the day one patch isn't a jumbo one!

- Cheaper in the long run through re-sale value. Traded in my PCARS GOTY copy a month ago - really no need for it since PCARS2 is keeping/improving almost everything - and got about £15 for it. If PCARS3 will be on PS4 again, then I'll aim to do the same thing with PCARS2, which should easily eclipse any savings you might get from pre-ordering the digital Deluxe edition. I love the convenience of digital, but if you're not looking to keep certain games forever, then it rarely beats physical on price.

Physical. Preordered the collector's edition from Game about 4 months ago, now just 1 week left and I can barely sit still with anticipation

for me, when I finally get around to buying it, I'll be getting the digital version. I havent bought a physical copy of a game since GT6, and before that...
